In Your Arms (A Brannie Fanfic)

Chapter Ten

Annie's POV:
I woke up wrapped in Brennan's embrace. I grinned and checked my phone. It was 5:00, pretty early. I went on Instagram and it was blown up with comments. I was used to the crazy amounts on social media, but I haven't posted anything in at least a week. I scrolled through my recent photo.
"Omg, Caleb deleted the pic. They don't want their own fans to know!"
"Annie, we know #brannie is real!"
Another said.
"Guys, leave them alone. Even if she is with Brennan, she deserves her privacy."
I shut off my phone, overwhelmed with the brannie shippers. I texted Caleb, praying he was still awake this late.
(You know about this part, cmon.)
A- My Instagram is blowing up with Brannie stuff, and they are saying you posted something about it. Spill!
He started typing.
C- uh, I may have posted sine thing complaining about you being ok a date. They were getting suspicious so I deleted it.
A- Caleb! If mom finds out, I'm dead!
C- just tell her before she figures it out in her own. Go to sleep.

I shut off my phone in frustration. Brennan groaned when I slapped it onto my bedside table.
"Sorry." I mumbled, kissing his cheek.
I drifted to sleep once again.

Katie's POV;
At 6:30 I got up and threw on some jeans and sweatshirt. I quietly sneaked outside into the humid cold air, hoping not to wake anyone. We didn't think about bringing our car and I've borrowed a vehicle in the morning before from the Leblancs, so I left a note explaining where I was going.
At the house, the water was almost completely gone. Mom must have called someone to get it fixerd. But all downstairs smelled like sewer and snow. I grimace at the scent and ran back to Ryan's room to grab more clothes. After, I quickly drove to Ryan's friends house and gave the clothes to his mom. And then, I finally drove back to the house to wake the rest of them up and get ready for a long day of school.
Today, mom and dad also were coming home.
First I woke up Brennan and Annie, who slowly got out of bed and each others arms. Once they were up, I walked to Caleb's door and woke him up. He looked half dead without his caffeine.
I started the coffee for us and hit ready myself. I just decided to stay in jeans and my sweatshirt and finished with uggs and simple makeup.
I got the toast for everyone, who groggily made their ways downstairs. I poured a cup of coffee for me, Brennan, Caleb, and even Annie had one. She hated the rush from caffeine, but was not used to a school noting routine again.
I packed a bag for gymnastics and drove everyone to school.
"Ugh. Why didn't the school send out and email or something?" Annie said, rubbing her eyes.
"I don't know. I found out from Ryan. The school part of town is practically untouched is what he said." I replied. Too soon, we reached the large school. Brennan and Annie lingered in each others arms until she kissed him goodbye and followed me to our lockers. He separated into the senior wing with Caleb.

Brennan's POV:
After Annie and I kissed Caleb leaned in to whisper in my ear.
"It's official?" He said quizzically.
"It's official." I yawned. We were about to meet at our regular spot with our friends until I stopped and remembered what happened at the party. Brady wasn't there, so I followed Caleb to find him in the group.
Ben instantly tried to apologize as I pulled Brady away and to the corner.
"Look Brennan, I was drunk. I didn't know what I was doing." He said, trying to suck up to me.
"She's just some junior, why do guy care so much?" He hissed.
I turned and retaliated.
"That junior is my sisters best friend and my girlfriend. Now fuck off." I said, shocked at what I had just worded.
"Wow." Brady said, wide eyed. I explained the story.
"That's pretty bad. Still dude, cut him him some slack. He was drunk." Brady defended him. I looked at Caleb and at Brady again, growled in frustration and followed the back to the group.
Mark and Dylan patted my back.
"Score on the girl by the way." Ben said shyly.
I just growled and looked around.

Annie's POV:
"So how was your movie night?" Katie giggled.
"It was great. But Caleb almost revealed us, and the fans are sticking the pieces together. I've gotta tell my mom before she find out herself." I said nervously, twirling my hair in my finger. We continued to get our textbooks and head to class.

Ms. Katie's POV:
I decided to post on the officiallybratayley Instagram today, and was taken aback at the amount of comments on some posts. We haven't posted for a good couple of weeks, so j read the comments to see what the fuss was about.
"Why did Caleb delete that picture? Annie and Brennan are hanging out, she's supposed to be on a date... How stupid do they think we are?" Someone commented.
At least 100 comments read '#brannie'. I thought about last night and Annie's movie with Brennan. I gasped as j realized the fans knew before me that my own daughter was on a date! Last night! In my house!
I called Billy to tell him my discoveries.
"I'm not mad at her, but how come she didn't tell us?" I confessed.
I stared at the selfie with Brennan.
And what else isn't she telling us?

Oooh Ms Katie found out. What's she going to do with Annie and Brennan?
