Katie's POV:
Dad handed me a box and I set it in the moving truck. My doctor thought it was a great idea to be lifting and moving the heavy things. Tonight I have gymnastics too.
"Here's your last box Kate, then we start the living room." Mom said, handing me a smaller box that held my photos. I placed it to the side and awaited more boxes.
Suddenly, my phone rang.
"Hello?"
"Hi Katie, it's Brennan. Annie drove off and we don't know where she is."
"Well how do you know?"
"She called her mom. But I'm really scared for her. She didn't even get clothes."
"I don't know where she is. If she called her mom then she's okay Brennan."
"Never mind. I'll find her my self." Brennan hung up.
I knew my best friend, and when she left that meant she wanted to be left alone. I get he's worried, but she isn't a baby.
I was interrupted by mom.
"Can you help us bring the couch?"
I nodded and followed her through the snow and inside the house. There were a lot of memories in this place. I can't wait to make more in the new house.

Annie's POV:
This is crazy.
I'm just leaving everything behind. I didn't even grab clothes. I have some money, but it won't last me long.
Snow fell on the car as I whooshed through the roads. Brennan was right. I'm not fine. Tears filled my eyes.
Im such a wimp I thought.
My phone was going off like crazy but I didn't answer it. I knew it was Brennan asking where I was going and for me to come home. But I can't. It's all too much right now. There's so much going on and I need a rest from it all.
I seen the place I was going up ahead. I am driving to an old church a few hours away from home. The last time I was here was two years ago.
It's abandoned and in the middle of nowhere, and I'm sure Katie won't think of the place. I've told her about it, but I really need some time to myself.
I pulled in to the dirt road leading to the abandoned building as the snowstorm started to thicken. The trees surrounding the area shaded me from most of it as I ran through the lot and into the small church. I shut the door and flickered the lights on. Only a few still work.
I sat on a bench on the side and huddled my knees to my chest.
Okay. Now to solve my problems.
Brennan says I'm not eating enough. I'm just eating with my normal habits! I had a granola bar, and....
I sighed as I put my head in my hands. My boyfriend was right. It's not healthy.
I made a mental note to try and make it up to him and start eating more.
Now Caleb.
Caleb is going to be okay. His surgery is Sunday morning and it will go okay. They will fix him.
And if they don't, I have to spend all my time with him. Celebrate life. I'll even play minecraft if he wants me to.
Mia is angry with me because of Caleb and Sydney. They don't love eachother, obviously. So why does Mia blame me? Is she just looking for an excuse to hate me?
I continued on my train of thoughts and talked to my self. I am going insane.

Brennan's POV:
I scrambled for my keys on the counter tops of the Bratayley house. I grabbed my phone, money, and a sweater. I was going to find Annie whether she liked it or not. Suddenly, Ms Katie ran up to me, filming me like a paparazzi.
"Where you going Brennan?" She asked, looking in to the camera.
"Uh, the hospital." I lied.
"Oh, could you take Hayley? She hasn't seen her big brother in a wh-"
"I have errands to run, I won't be back until dinner. I also have to stop by the doctors because of my sickness. Maybe tomorrow morning though?" I said, half out of the door.
"Oh okay." She said, turning the camera to Hayley, who had just come downstairs.
"Hey H$! Wanna go help the Flippin Family move?" She said, laughing before I shut the door. I sighed and drove to our old house. As I pulled in to the drive way I practiced looking sick, like before.
"Hey Brennan, wanna help?" Dad asked me, handing me a box. I set it down in the truck.
"I would, but I'm going to get medicine quickly. Still not feeling the best." I lied again. My parents nodded and headed back inside the house.
Katie came bouncing out and I stopped her.
"Katie. Do you have any idea where Annie might be?" I shook her shoulders.
"Like I said Brennan, I don't know." She glared.
"Where does she go when she's having a hard time?" I pleaded.
"I don't know! The last time she was stressed with this much stuff was when we were fifteen." She slammed the box of pillows down.
"Where did she go then?" I asked with hope.
"Something about and old church or barn. She only told me it was a few hours away, but she probably wouldn't go there." She said, itching her head.
"Where is it?!" I almost shouted. I heard the door opening again.
"-insert place in Maryland- But it's at least two hours away!" She shouted.
"I don't even know- if that's" she was interrupted by mom.
"Why are you guys talking about -that place whatever it is-? That's three hours away, you can't get medicine from there!" Mom laughed.
"Katie was just telling me about an accident there." I lied. I hate lying.
"Why are you still here? We're gonna need help!" Dad said, handing Katie a box.
"I'm sorry. Uh, do you need anything?" I said whilst rubbing my forehead.
"No. Now get going!" Mom laughed, camera at hand. Guess we were vlogging again.
I hopped in to the car and started my long drive.
I hope she's there.

Starting to get a little writers block. Running out of ideas.
This is the book is ending soon.    Anyways, hope you enjoyed💙
