Caleb's POV:
It happened so fast.
I was looking over at Katie, into her pretty round face and big brown eyes the color of chestnuts. As soon as I looked into the street a car cut me off and crashed into my side of the car.
We spun and flipped, but I could only hear faint screams. Everything around me was a blur. I felt my heart thumping though my chest and my breath turn in to quick shudders.
I hit my head and it all went black.

Annie's POV:
I looked up dizzily from the side of the car. I hit my head and was bleeding slightly.
"Is everyone okay?" I heard the faniliar voice of my boyfriend shout. I reminded what just happened and jumped. I pulled at the seatbelt bolting a to the seat and hugged Brennan crying. After my 'sob show' was over we leaned into the front seat.
Caleb and Katie aren't moving.
We pushed and slapped in hopes of waking Our siblings up, but nothing happens.
Suddenly, Katie groaned.
"Katie!" Brennan said, tearfully hugging his little sister. She yelped as he touched her bleeding head.
The car doors were pried open by a firefighter as I kept trying to awaken Caleb.
I was pulled away screaming from Caleb's arms. A paramedic sat me on the back of an ambulance and wrapped a blanket around my shoulder.
"Sweetie, can you tell me where your hurt?" She asked through the crowd. I insisted I was only bleeding a but and shouted for her to get Caleb.
She smiled and walked over to the mangled car.
I could almost still hear the Christmas music playing.

Katie's POV:
I cried as another paramedic pulled me away, just like they had Annie. Brennan came out easily.
"Can you tell me if your hurt?" The man asked.
"Uh, my head hurts a little. But what about Caleb?" I shouted.
"The boy is being cared of. Can you tell me your name?" He replied, bandaging my head.
"Uh, Katie. Katie Donelly." I murmured. He attached a bracelet around my wrist and put me in the ambulance. Not long after they pulled Caleb in on a stretcher.
"Caleb." I whimpered. I was speechless. Was he dead? Dying?
I realized how scared I was.
Caleb is like a brother, that's why I care so much. I reassured by thoughts.
Annie and Brennan climbed in the ambulance and we were rushed to the hospital.
"What do we got?" A woman in blue clothing asked as she pulled open the doors.
"Caleb Leblanc, 18. Car accident, hadn't woken up but we still have a pulse." My paramedic said pulling the stretched out again. My eyes teared up as I looked at Annie, who was shattered by those words.
I felt dizzy as a woman helped me out. Everything was moving and my vision was spotted. I fell over and passed out.

Brennan's POV:
I gasped as Katie fell on to the wet concrete.
"I need some help over here!" The nurse shouted. Two paramedics helped lift Katie's limp body.
"What happened?" Another doctor asked as he laid her on a stretcher.
"Was involved in a car accident, injured head. She just passed out." They said, entering the hospital.
It was just me and Annie standing outside in shock. It started to rain.
I grabbed Annie and tried to pull her inside.
"My brother is dead." She whispered as another ambulance pulled up. It had a boy our age inside.
It must have been who hit us.
I carried Annie bridal style into the waiting room. That's where she broke down.
"Annie it's okay." I said, hugging her cold, wet body. People in the waiting area looked at us with sad looks on their faces.
"Annie and Brennan." A nurse asked out carelessly.
"Yes?" I said, jumping up. Annie winced as I hit her bruised leg.
"Katie Donnelley is in room 101, requesting you." She said and pointed us to the hallway. I pulled Annie up and we sped walked to the room.
Katie was in the hospital bed looking blankly.
"Annie...Brennan...Annie.." She mumbled looking at us.
"Katie its us. We're okay." Annie said, more tears slipping out of her eyes.
"What happened? Where am I?" She asked out.
"We were in a car accident. You're in the hospital." I replied.
"Oh. What happened to me?" She murmured.
"You fainted from stress." She laughed and sniffled.
"Where's Caleb?" She asked, rubbing her bandaged head.
Annie's face darkened and she looked at me for help.
"Uh, he was hurt more than the rest of us. He's in the hospital somewhere." I said, wrapping my hand around Katie's.
She looked at me blankly again.
The doctor walked in.
"She her head pretty hard, but she'll be okay. She might forget some things in the beginning, but she'll be much better by the end of the week. We've contacted the family and they're on the way." The doctor said, holding a clipboard.
"And Caleb?" Annie asked, hope glimmering in her eyes.
"He has gone into a coma. But we've detected something else and we would like to discuss it privately. I looked over at Katie, who was asleep again. They pulled us into the hallway and left us in the waiting room again.
Our parents came crashing in the doors.
Annie and I leaped into our parents arms.
The doctor came out again, and lead us to Katie's room.
"Katie!" Mom shouted

Katie's POV:
"Mom?" I mumbled at the figure.
She hugged me and I felt tears dripping onto my forehead.
"She has a mild brain injury from her fall, and she hit her head in the crash. She may need surgery, but it's highly unlikely. She should be fully recovered by the end of the week." I heard a man in blue clothing say.
A short blonde blur held my hand, and I assumed it was Ryan. Everyone left exept the figures that sounded list Ryan, Dad and Mom.
"Hey Katie Kate." Dad said, holding my hand like Ryan had done seconds before.
"Where's Caleb?" I asked, noticing hadn't heard him in the group.
"He's been hurt, sweetie. I'm sure you'll see him when he's better." Mom said, and I could make out her fake smile.
Suddenly screams came from a couple doors down. I squeezed Dads hand.
"Where's Caleb?" I asked.

Hayley's POV:
The doctor pulled us in a room with Caleb in it. I gasped at his motionless body.
Tears formed in my eyes. I walked over to him and looked at his body. There were tubes everywhere.
"Caleb has gone into a coma. It doesn't seem too severe, so he should be back in a few weeks. But during his X-Ray we noticed something with his heartbroken. My moms face flushed white.
"He has mild Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, which means extra muscle has grown around his heart. It's caused by high blood pressures while his body his growing, and is rarely spread across even athletes. Most commonly it's passed through genes" He finished.
"With proper treatment, we could easily get rid of it." He said, wide eyes.
"That's what they said about my father. He's dead." She glared. The doctor apologized.
"The treatment is expensive." He said, and I noticed his fuzzy grey hair. He had a dark beard and was very lanky.
"Not a problem." Daddy replied. The doctor nodded and left.
"Daddy, is Caleb going to be okay?" I asked, sounding like a small child.
"I don't know Hayley. I don't know." He mumbled, rubbing his hand through my thick curls.
He will be okay. He has to be.
