(this is the second part to Amethyst's last chapter, 'Taken,'.)

You wake up shaking, cold and hollow. You open your eyes slowly, and you feel your heartbeat drum inside your chest. You're sweating, your eyes heavy, your head aching.

You sit up slowly, your head screaming in pain, humming clouding your senses....like a never ending buzzing sound...sound...

...Music?

You shake your head, sitting up softly. Your vision is blurred. Badly.

Colours fade in and out, softening and blurring over each other.

You blink but the lingering wave of heavy pain won't go away.

The music continues. A girls voice. Singing. Wordless sound. Just notes.

Green colour and bright light suddenly washes over you.

Everything is cold, polished, cool, clean, and empty.

You look at your bruised hands. Green light is painted across it.

You manage to turn your head. Empty nothingness. Then it all come at once.

Stars. Galaxies painted and washing over an endless void.

It dawns on you.

I'm on a ship.

Jasper's ship.

In space.

The middle of space.

Sickening feelings fall into your gut. Your eyes widen and you clutch your stomach, feeling like throwing up.

It overwhelms you. The feelings, the pain, your gut, your arms and head and a feeling of throwing up and crying and never stopping...

....and questions.

How long was I out?

Why am I in space?

Where is everyone else?

Why does my...everything hurt?

And one question suddenly surfaces and blows everything else out of the water.

Where's mom?

Your eyes snap open and the green cage around you seems empty and endless, even though you can see the entire capsule.

A long stream of yellow light sizzles and waterfalls along the gap, locking you in. But you have to find mom. You run.

The light only hurts for a second.

You rush through everything. The green rooms stretch out. Space is painted across the windows, and a weightless feeling simmers into your gut.

You run towards the singing. that's the only other sign of life.

Because you have to avoid Peridot and jasper. Maybe the singing is Lapis...maybe you can save her.
