Amethyst (3)~Fuse

You've been living with the gems for a couple weeks now while your dad rests up. It's honestly not so bad.

You've even started calling Amethyst, "Amy."

"Is YN done with her sword-fighting lessons yet?"

Amethyst asks Pearl as her and you step through the warp-pad. You nod, wielding a shining sword. Your eyes gleam.

"I'm keeping it now," You say, examining the sharp edges. "Pearl even taught me how to fight her hologram self!"

Pearl blushes a light blue and coughs. "That didn't go over well."

Steven and Garnet suddenly step out to join you from the warp-pad.

Steven has big splashes of blue dust all over his face, and Garnet has a couple test-tubes in her hands.

Amethyst laughs.

"Oh, you poofed it and it exploded?" Amy laughs, bending over as you blush and rub the back of your neck.

"Yup."

Amy wipes tears from her eyes.

"That's awesome you guys! I wish I could've seen that~!"

You laugh.

"So...anybody want some lunch?" Asks Steven suddenly.

You and Amy lick your lips. "FOOD!!"

Pearl munches on some watermelons, Garnet doesn't eat, Amethyst eats a whole lot of random stuff, and you settle on a tasty sandwich with a smoothie and some flaky-cereal.

"You know, Amethyst, you should teach ~YN~ something, maybe gem culture or something," Pearl suggests.

Amy sets down her smoothie and bread.

She looks around, then points at herself, surprised.

"Me?" She pffttts and laughs it off. "No way, you're good, right, ~YN~.?"

You shrug and sip some of your smoothie, then you wipe your chin and set it back down once again.

"yeah, but...maybe, you could teach me...something?"

You wince awkwardly and put your hand on your neck.

Amethyst winces back.

Pearl's eyes light up.

"Perfect! You can teach her physics! Or culture! Or math! Or safety!!!" Garnet puts her arm in front of Pearl's chest.

"No," She says calmly but firmly.

"Amethyst can teach ~YN~ whatever she wants to. She has to be comfortable with what she teaches, so that it can be fun for the both of them."

Pearl clears her throat and looks at you, obviously embarrassed. Mom looks really uneasy. "Um...ok, maybe..."

Your eyes light up. "How about shape-shifting?"

Amy looks at you and offers you a thanks you smile. "Ok, yeah, I could teach you that."

You and Amethyst are in the living room as the other gems go on a mission across the seas.

You're sitting on the light wooden flooring, looking up at Amy and smiling proudly.

"you sure that you don't want to go on a mission with them?"

Asks Amethyst.

"Don't worry, if you don't wanna go, we'll wait," Pearl says from the kitchen.
