Peridot (3)~Shards

Steven is out, we've lost all but one drill, and ~YN~ is about to throw up

And on a newly polished drill.

Wonderful.

The cluster tries to emerge, white light silhouettes reaches towards the drill.

I whimper.

"Are you ok ~YN~?" She nods at me, though her face is slightly green.

Her gem shimmers slightly, and her weapon seems to form, though it fades multiple times.

Her head turns warm and she coughs. "I need to sit down," she mumbles.

Steven is still out, occasionally screaming.

"Oh my gosh he's having a seizure," ~YN~ says awkwardly.

I roll my eyes and begin to drive the drill towards the center of the cluster.

Shards scatter from the core and they shine as they disperse.

As I dig more, Steven suddenly screams.

"Perrie! Stop!" ~YN~ yells at me. I stop, and screeching nose quiets.

I whip around.

"What!?"

~YN~ points to Steven. "I think he's trying to talk to it."

"It?" My head tilts to the side.

"It! The cluster! He can go into the minds of people! Maybe he's in it's mind!"

My eyes widen as I sit back down.

"So just..let him talk to it."

I sigh.

"Ok....fine."

Soon, we look down to see a giant bubble, shining against the shards, all around the cluster.

I gasp.

He did it.

Steven comes to almost immediately.

"You're not dead!" I cheer.

~YN~ still looks ready to puke.

"How did you do it!?" I ask as I go back to the control seat.

Steven shrugs.

"I just talked to it. They were lonely, so they bubbled each other."

"It's beautiful," ~YN~ comments, looking out her small circle window.

I sigh.

"Yeah, I guess it is. Now, let's get out of here, I want to see Percy and Pierre."
