Sakura takes me around the school for ages. It feels like a year by the time she finally stops to eat. I think that's the first time she's been silent all day.
"I know everyone's names in year 11. Ask me anyone's and I bet I can answer it."
We walk past the boy from on the bus.
"Who's that?"
I point to him, hands shaking, hoping he won't notice.
"Oh that? That's Toby. He's really cool. You want me to introduce you?"
I look at her. I can feel my cheeks burning, turning red, blushing. She chuckles.
"Well look at that. Yoshie has a crush on Toby."
I guess Toby hears his name because he walks looks at us and walks over. I feel my stomach turning inside-out and butterflies fluttering faster than ever before. He stands there and starts to talk...
