Maddison's POV
"What was all that about?" Cassidy asked from beside me as I turned the dial to my locker.
"What are you talking about now?" I sighed as I emptied my heavy bag from the unnecessary books I didn't especially want to carry on my walk home.
"I saw you and Devil." She spoke his name as if it had a foul taste in her mouth. "Both exchanging looks throughout the whole of class!" She continued.
I shut my locker and leaned up against it, giving her a look of disbelief. "Well, sorry Cass? I can't control when somebody looks at me? You call him Devil like he's some Most Wanted Criminal, we don't even know him.." I looked at her, trying to read her expression. She looked scared, which made completely no sense what-so-ever. I look at people all of the time. Why is she making such a big deal out of this?!
"Look, I don't know what you want me to say" I sighed for the tenth time today, after realising she hadn't planned on adding anything else onto this conversation.
"Just don't get involved with him. Don't become Devil's 'girl'" She warned.
"You're acting ridiculous," I rolled my eyes. "We were just looking at eachother. I've never even spoken to him!"
As she finished putting her final books away in her locker, which was situated next to mine, she turned and looked at me, "Well, whatever. Just don't say I didn't warn you. Bye Mads, I'll see you tomorrow." She threw me a disappointed smile, shoved herself off of her locker and began walking away. Leaving me standing there, completely baffled as to what she was even talking about.
