Austin's POV

A few hours had passed which were spent numbing my anger with alcohol. I didn't allow myself to get drunk though, I just needed it.

I sat on the stool in the kitchen, twiddling the beer can on the island table. I stared at it as if it was suddenly the most interesting thing in the world.

My thoughts were going wild as I planned in my head the way I would kill Draydon once and for all.

"How's she holding up?" I snapped my head up to see Leo walk through the door and over to the fridge. My eyes gazed upon the clock above it; 1.35am. He turned around to face me, popping the lid to his beer can.

I shrugged, "I don't know. She's sleeping." He nodded silently, looking off into the distance. I could tell that he watched his words carefully, to prevent saying the wrong thing. He wouldn't even allow eye contact.

I couldn't help but image the flashbacks of how he was all over my girl, frightening her.

The tension in the room grew thicker as my jaw clenched and my eyes turned black, spreading nothing but hatred.

"He's going to die tomorrow." I spat. "And I'll be sure of it."

Leo nodded in agreement, "I'll get everything prepared." He pushed away from the table and slowly walked back out, heading towards the basement.

I heard a faint noise coming from above the stairs, and I sat in silence waiting for another sound.

After waiting for a minute, I decided to just let it go.

A loud spluttering noise that turned into a chesty cough emitted from upstairs, "Austin" I heard Madison call faintly.

I sprung up onto my feet, and jogged up the stairs and into the darkness of my room. I flicked the light on, revealing a distressed Madison. Her eyes were squinted from the sudden brightness of the light, but I could tell she had been crying.

I seated myself down next to her on the bed and rested my arms around her small frame.

Her head nuzzled into the crook of my neck again, "It's okay baby" I shhh'd, stroking her tangle free hair.

She gasped for air as she sobbed uncontrollably, "I can't sleep Austin, I just want to get out of these filthy clothes." She paused, "I feel like he's still touching me." She spoke bairly above a whisper.

My jaw clenched at the images that ran through my mind.

Madison's POV

I noticed his jaw clench and unclench as I pulled away from his embrace.

His eyes fell up on the bruised mark that had been left on my neck a few hours ago.

I looked down in disgust at myself and pulled at the fabric of my top, attempting to cover it away.

His thumb and index finger gently grasped my chin, lifting my head up. My eyes fluttered open and gazed into his, the gorgeous chocolate brown expressing sorrow.

"I'll go run you a shower okay?" His hands fell from my chin and he shuffled off of the bed and into the bathroom. I heard the sound of water running and I followed him into the bathroom.

"Are you mad?" I questioned, shuffling on my feet and fiddling with my fingers.

"To tell the truth," He sighed, "Yeah, I am mad. I'm furious."

I froze in worry of what he would do next, but he took me by surprise. His warm hand carressed my cheek softly and he walked closer to me.

"But not at you." He swooped down and captured my lips in a kiss.

Something I had found myself craving for a long while.

"Go shower" He mumbled against my lips, kissing them again, "I'll be waiting outside" He placed one more kiss on my forehead and smiled before closing the door behind him.

Austin's POV

I collapsed onto the bed lying on my back, with my hands rested on my stomach.

I sighed uncontrollably and ran a hand up and down my face. The night seemed to drag on and we all just wanted to get our revenge on Draydon. I had to do it for me.. for Madison, for us.

It would ensure her safety, atleast for a little while.. and that's my main priority right now. I pushed myself back off of the bed again and walked over to my chest of drawers.

After ruffling through some of the clothes, I pulled out two basketball shorts and a hoody.

The hoody and one of the shorts were set out for Madison, considering all of her clothes were at her house. I slid my shoes off, not even bothering to untie the laces.

The remaining of my clothes were thrown into a pile in the corner of my room, my snapback back in the drawer and I slid my basketball shorts on.

I hadn't even noticed the shower stop running until I saw Madison poke out of the door with a towel wrapped around her.

It was kind of hot to think that she was naked underneath that towel.. I bit my lip unconsciously and handed her the clothes.

"Thank you" I nodded and she came out a few seconds later, changed in my clothes. They were probably 5 sizes too big, but she still managed to look cute.

"Feel better?" I questioned, tucking a damp strand of hair behind her ear. She nodded with a light smile on her face. She pulled the sleeves over her hands from the cold breeze as a comfortable silence fell amongst us.

"Hey man I-uh" Finn paused as he barged in. "Was I.. Interrupting something?" He questioned uneasily, scratching the back of his neck.

"No. What did you want?"

"We've just set the stuff up. I don't know, Slade sent me up here to tell you."

"Alright" I nodded and he closed the door behind him.

Madison's POV

I noticed how the conversation was vague, but decided against asking about it. Austin walked over to check his phone after Slade left, and I felt my heart drop.

"Austin, my parents-" I began worriedly, "they don't know where I am I need to go back."

I walked quickly over to the bundle of clothes in the corner of the room and searched in the pocket of my jeans for my phone and checked it.

"Shit" He said rubbing his face. He slid on his leather jacket and sat down on his bed, beginning to put his shoes on.

"What? I can't go back there now" I spoke quickly.

"You wanna stay here?" He questioned, looking over his shoulder at me with his eyebrows raised.

"No, but-" I sighed and he carried on putting his shoes on. I nibbled on the bottom of my lip and tied the laces to my vans.

He walked down the stairs and I followed quickly behind him. The whole house was dark but the tv illuminated the boys faces as the snapped round towards us.

"Back in 5" Austin told them and they nodded hesitantly. They looked up at me and I smiled slightly, speedwalking to catch up with Austin.

I sat there nervously in the car, just thinking about what my parents would do- or what I would even say.

I wasn't sure if Austin was angry at me, and to be honest, I didn't want to be the one to figure that out. I've been through enough in one day as it is, without having to deal with another one of our petty arguments.

I felt his warm hand fall onto my shoulder as we stopped at a red light, "It's gonna be okay," He reassured, I looked over at him and barely smiled. His hand travelled down my arm until he reached my hand. He intertwined his fingers with mine.

He was comforting me, which was the complete opposite that I thought he would do if I said a word. He squeezed my hand gently, looking out onto the road.

The lights changed and I let go of his hand so that he could drive again safely, much to his protest. I've been trying to think of an excuse for where I was all this time, I mean, it was getting on for midnight and I have school tomorrow.

Before I knew it, he had pulled up a few houses down from mine.

"Austin my house is down there" I pointed.

"Wouldn't wanna get caught now would we?" He smirked, trying to lighten the mood.

We both knew I'd be telling my parents anything but the truth.

I mean, imagine: 'Oh I couldn't come home until midnight because I got kidnapped and nearly raped because I'm involved with a criminal but it's all okay because his gang saved me and took me back to their place, where I then fell asleep for the majority of the evening' Yeah right.

"So, I'll see you later then" I sighed, about to open the door.

I looked at Austin with a confused expression as he locked the car, stopping me from exiting.

"C'mere" He nodded his head towards his direction, and I climbed over to his seat, with my legs on either side of him.

I couldn't bear to look into his eyes; I'd just feel even more guilty for causing all this trouble; so instead, I just kept my gaze down.

He gently carressed my chin with his thumb, nudging it slightly so that I'd shift my gaze onto him.

"You can wait in my room?" I suggested, not wanting to sound too needy, even though right now, Austin was exactly what I needed.

"You know I would but," He paused for a minute before sighing, "I've got something to do first okay?"

I knew what he was talking about, I was used to it just by spending these few times together, I was aware exactly what he meant by that.

He was going to kill Draydon.

Now don't get me wrong, I wanted him dead too.

In all honesty, I'm scared to go anywhere alone incase he's there.

If he's... taken care of... I wouldn't have to worry. I just couldn't stand to think that Austin could ever be in this much danger.

I shook my head, "You don't have to," I began, "You could get somebody else to do it I mean, Slade would most likely be more than happy to-"

"I've got to do this," He interrupted my rambling on, "For you. For us." He told me.

And from there I knew it was something he needed to do. He needed to release his anger and get his revenge out somehow, and I already know not to get too involved in his business.

"Just.. don't get hurt." He must've noticed the worry in my eyes, as he was quick to reassure me.

"This is nothing I haven't done before baby, I'll be fine." He stressed.

I nodded, knowing that he wasn't going to change his mind any time soon. He placed his lips over mine gently, kissing me passionately and slowly.

"I should probably go" I murmured against his lips, fighting against what I wanted and what I knew I should do.

"Right," He sighed and we pulled away. I unlocked the car door and opened it from his side, hopping down as he hands lost grip of my waist.

"Good luck," He shrugged, wanting to support me but not knowing what to say. I smiled lightly,

"Yeah, be safe." I replied, shutting his car door.

I walked onto the sidewalk and headed for my house. I hadn't heard his engine yet, so I knew he was watching until he knew I was safely in the house before he left, which made me feel secure.

"Madison?" My mother gasped as she opened the front door.

I nodded, not knowing what to say and she started crying, almost having a heart attack, I swear.

"Where the heck have you been?!" She demanded.

Wow, that was a quick change of attitude.

Where have I been?... Think Maddi think.

"I was at a friends house, you know, Cassidy?" I said in a tone as if to wonder why she was so paniky.

"Didn't you get my text?" I asked walking in. Play it cool. She closed the front door and looked at me.

"No I didn't! And you've had me worried sick!" She exclaimed.

I couldn't ignore the pang of guilt I felt rush through me.

"Why are you back so late?!" She questioned.

"We were given an assignment to complete yesterday and it was due for tomorrow. We both completely forgot about it yesterday and then it hit us. I went over to her house and we completed it, even though it took us this long. I thought you knew, I did send you a text. Maybe my phone wasn't working?" I lied.

"Just, get up to your room. I'm sick of the sight of you!" She shouted at me.

Without hesitation, I turned around and walked straight upstairs. Feeling nothing but hurt and devistation.. Although I couldn't help but feel proud of the lie.

Austin's POV

"Get the god damn guns loaded, we're leaving." I demanded as I slammed the front door shut. They whipped their heads round to look at me from the living room as I passed them and into the basement.

"We can't just go now, he's obviously going to be expecting us, stop rushing into things." Leo stated. I pulled down a case from one of the shelves and slammed it onto the table. I unclicked the handles and opened it up, revealing the guns. By now, the guys were just staring at me from the steps.

"Look, you either come, or don't come, either way I'm still going to go." I said fast, in a rush to just go and kill him now. I heard a sigh before they all came and sorted out their own guns.

I kept a firm grasp on the steering wheel, with my gaze focused straight. My jaw was locked and my veins pulsed with adrenaline for what was about to happen.

"Pass over the guns" I demanded through gritted teeth.

"Are you sure you-"

"Just pass me the guns! Damn it" I shouted, pulling at the ends of my hair, keeping one hand on the wheel.

Leo scrambled in the back trying to be as fast as he could. He pulled over a metal suitcase and laid it on his lap. He sorted and loaded my gun, passing it forwards. I took it from him and slid it into my back pocket. I noticed the boys all silently do the same. I sped down the street, pulling up to 136, park avenue.

My body shuddered at the thought of my girl ever being held hostage here. I jumped out of my SUV, the rest of my boys mimicking my actions.

"Hold up" Slade spoke sternly, holding me back by my shoulders.

"Get the fuck off of me man" I growled, shoving his hands away, narrowing my eyes at him.

"Get your act together. You know what happens when you go with that fucked up mind state. I aint letting a repeat of last time happen. Clear your damn mind." He demanded.

I clenched my jaw, knowing he was right. I took a minute to calm down, before looking straight ahead at the warehouse.

"Let's go," Slade called out to the other guys who were checking their guns. "Let them think we haven't come armed." He continued, and everyone obeyed, sliding their guns into the waistband of their pants.

I walked forward and kicked down the warehouse door. Draydon and his gang all whipped their heads round from watching TV in their shitty warehouse.

"Mahone." He greeted, standing up.

"Fuck off" I spat, shaking my head in disgust.

He looked worried. So he should be.

In his mind, I would be staying with my girl right now, he thought he wouldn't have me to worry about until atleast a few more days.

But he underestimated me and I was going to make sure that these were his last few minutes alive. I slammed him into the cold, stone wall, keeping him there with my grasp around his neck, strong, but not enough to choke him.

"I thought you'd be with that girl of yours" He sneered.

"Well I guess you thought wrong" I smirked.

"What?" He cocked his head to the side slightly, "She off fucking somebody else already?" He chuckled.

I threw a punch into his left jaw, making him stumble to the left, before I slammed him back to the wall. He slid down it and bawled over onto the floor.

"You make this too fucking easy." I laughed dryly. From the noise in the background, I could tell that the guys were doing whatever they had to do to the rest of his gang. I kneeled down to his level as he groaned in pain.

"You're gonna pay for what you did." I pulled out my gun from my back pocket. "I'm gonna teach everybody in Texas that nobody lays a fucking hand on my girl. This is my town." I sneered, clicking the gun back.

Taking me by surprise, he knocked the gun from my hand. In a quick attempt to save him time, he fired a quick shot to my arm.

"Fuck" I hissed as my face contorted to discomfort. I kept my arm over my wound to stop me from losing too much blood. Draydon held the gun up to my temple.

"SLADE" I called out in a pained yell.

"Call on your fucking guys," Draydon laughed, "And you call me weak?"

"Shut the fuck up!" I yelled.

I took a strong hold of his wrist and knocked it against the wall, making the gun fall to the floor. I picked it up before he could even move and shoved it to his temple, making him hiss in pain.

"Any last words?" I taunted.

His eyes showed fear, "Don't do it Mah-"

Bang.

With that, his body fell lifelessly to the floor. I sneered in disgust and kicked his body.

The gun shot hadn't penetrated too far into my arm, and although it hurt like a bitch, it wasn't serious.

I looked up to an empty warehouse, realising that the guys must have been waiting in the SUV.

I jumped in to the passenger side of the SUV. My anger was released and I had nothing to worry about. For now.

"Job done" I smirked and the guys all seemed to relax.

Madison's POV

"Madison! Come down here" My mum called from downstairs.

"Coming!" I called back.

I was surprised that my mum even wanted to talk to me depsite the previous events. A pang of worry rushed through me as I closed my laptop. I walked down to the bottom of the stairs to see my parents standing there at the bottom step. I looked between them, waiting for them to speak.

"Yeah?" I questioned.

My mum shot me a look.

"I mean, Yes?" I said, in my nicest tone possible, fighting back the urge to question their strict demeanor.

"Me and your father have spoken.. and we decided that although what you did was against the rules and completely irresponsible, based on it being for school work, we decided to let you off the hook." She said seriously.

"But, in the future, we expect a phone call to inform us on where you are. This doesn't change the fact that we're still very disappointed in you. You're grounded for a week." I nodded sadly, "I understand."

My dad sighed, "Well, go on up to your room. It's getting late and you have school tomorrow."
