Easton's Princess

Chapter 7

Lily's POV

When I woke up the next morning my body hurt all over and I had a really bad headache. I tried to get out of the bed but was restrained. I sighed, I forgot the stupid handcuff. The door handle turned and a teenage girl walked in the room with a tray of food. She put the tray on the nightstand and unlocked my handcuff. She took my hand and brought me to the bathroom. She walked out and I did the things I needed to do. When I was done she brought me back to the bed and handcuffed my foot again. She put the tray of food on my lap and then left the room.

I ate and then put the tray back on the nightstand. That same routine happened for the next five days. It was boring to say the least, but it was helped by the books people brought me. I didn't see Easton at all those five days it felt like I was stuck in prison.

On the sixth day Easton finally came into the room. "Hello Lily." He said with disappointment in his voice.

I replied quietly, "Hi."

"Why did you try to escape?"

"I told you why, I saw my parents on the news and I wanted to go home. Why can't I go home?"

"I have reasons as for why you can't leave."

"That excuse doesn't explain why I can't go home," he ignored my comment.

"If I unlock you have some rules to follow. Got it?" He asked. I rolled my eyes and nodded my head and he continued. "You have to stay with me at all times. If you leave my side you are going to be locked up again." I nodded my head again.

"Good." He replied while unlocking my foot. He took my hand and led me out of the room. The first stop was the kitchen. We both ate sandwiches really quick and then we went to his office. I sat on the couch while he was doing paperwork at his desk.

After about 15 minutes I decided that a nap sounded good. I pulled a blanket over me, curled up into the couch, and fell asleep.

When I woke up I heard whispering. I looked and saw Easton and James. They were looking at a book on Easton's desk and pointing at it. I didn't want to interrupt them so I just rolled over and pulled the blanket up higher.

When James left I rolled back over to face Easton.

"Hey Princess. Did you have a good nap?"

I just nodded my head.

"Do you want to go for a walk? You haven't been outside for a while."

"Yes please." I replied. I was excited to go outside again. I missed it.

We walked out of his office and out the front door. We started walking on a path in the woods and he grabbed my hand. I knew it was because of what I did but I had a really good reason to do it.

We walked for a while and it was really peaceful. All you heard was the sound of the animals and our footsteps. I was really amazed at how pretty the forest was.

After a little bit I heard other footsteps. I looked over at Easton and saw him tensed up.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

He looked at me. "I need you to stay behind me ok? Please don't question this now or be difficult." He told me.

I nodded my head and obeyed him. His face was very serious.

I heard the trees rustle to my right and I looked that way. The same men that I ran into the forest before were standing in front of me.

"Nice to see you again princess." The leader of the group said.

"What are you doing on my property Brad?" Easton asked.

Brad just smirked and didn't reply. I was confused about why it was so important that Brad wasn't on Easton's property.

"You need to get off my property right now Brad or else."

Brad just started laughing. "What are you going to do about it? You wouldn't want to scare your princess away would you?"

Easton started growling like a dog. I'm not kidding. The growl grew louder and it freaked me out.

I heard cracking and I almost threw up by how horrible it sounded. I looked over and saw Brad shaking. I saw fur growing from his skin and his limbs bend at weird angles. Suddenly there was a wolf instead of Brad I have to be dreaming. There is no plausible way for this to be happening than for me to be asleep.

The wolf started growling and advancing closer to me. I started to back away. When I looked over at Easton and saw him change into a wolf too that was when I started screaming.

This isn't real. It can't be. The two wolves clashed at each other and I was freaking out. I turned and ran. I didn't care where I was going. I just needed to get away from all of this craziness I wanted to go back to my normal life before I was kidnapped.

Another wolf jumped into my path. It changed into James. I started screaming again and backing away.

"Hey calm down. I'm not going to hurt you." He said trying to calm me down.

At this point I was in hysterics, "You are a monster. You change into a wolf. That isn't possible. It's not human."

James was still trying to calm me down when I was on the verge of a mental breakdown. "I know it isn't human or normal. Okay? You just need to calm down now. Freaking out isn't going to help."

I didn't care what he was saying. I was freaking out. I tried to run again, only to be tackled to the ground. My whole body ached from hitting the hard ground.

"I'm sorry." James started. "I know this isn't right and you are freaking out but you need to stay here. Easton will explain everything when he is done. Do you want to wait out here or do you want to go to the house?"

"I don't care. I just want to go home!" I wailed.

"I know you do but you are needed here. You are very important." James replied and he got off me. "We are going to stay here okay? Promise me you won't run."

I replied while looking at the ground, "I promise."

"Good now we have to wait for Easton."

We waited for about five minutes. While we did, I gathered my thoughts. When Easton arrived I was having a hard time keeping my thoughts rational. I wanted to run again but I knew I was going to get caught like I always do.

"I know that you are freaking out but we won't hurt you. I promise." Easton started. I knew he would keep his promises. I just had a feeling. "We are going back to the house because it is safer there. Okay?"

I nodded and Easton took my hand. At first I kind of freaked out but I knew he would keep his promise so I relaxed.

Once we got to the house, we went to the living room. They sat on the couch while I sat on the single chair across from them.

"Ok princess I know you have questions so ask away."
