Chapter 19

Lily's POV

The next couple of days I laid in bed because that is what the doctors told me to do. Finally on the third day my parents called saying that I had to come home. They told me that they couldn't stall the school anymore.

I said goodbye to everyone and Easton drove me home and then left. It was weird that Easton wasn't with me because I was so used to him around.

"Hey honey." My dad said while coming to give me a hug.

"Hey."

"You are going to have to do a lot of homework over the next two days." My mom said while walking into the room. "You have to do the homework from when you where in the hospital and now you are going to have the stuff from what you just missed."

"I know mom."

I walked over and put my stuff on the island in the kitchen. This was going to be a long day. By the end of the day I had fully finished math, history, and started science.

"Do you want to go out to eat?" My mom asked me. "I'm tired of doing dishes and we haven't had a lot of time with you lately."

"Sure. Just let me go get ready."

I went up to my room and put on skinny jeans and a hoodie. I quickly tied my converse and started to go down stairs. As I was walking down the hallway I got a sudden dizzy spell. I held my hand to the wall to try to remain steady. I saw an image in my head but it was all fuzzy. It soon went away and I didn't think anything of it.

"I'm ready." I announced when I saw my parents in the kitchen.

"Ok then. Let's go." My dad said while getting the keys.

We drove into town and went to a diner. When I got out of the car I had another fuzzy image in my head before it went away quickly. I stumbled a little bit.

"Honey are you ok?" My mom asked me.

"Yeah I'm fine. I just tripped."

My mom just laughed at my response. We went in and sat at a table. Soon a waitress came up and took our drink orders. Once she left my mom started talking.

"So breakfast or dinner food?"

My dad and I looked at each other. "Breakfast food." We responded.

My mom just laughed. "Ok then."

The waitress came back and took our orders.

"Halloween is coming up soon. Do you know what you want to be?" Dad asked me.

"Uh I don't really know."

"Ok just let us know what we need to get."

"Okay."

"So honey we have been thinking." Mom started.

"About going on a vacation this summer." Dad finished.

"To where?" I asked curious.

"We were thinking to New York."

"Really?" I asked super excited. I have always wanted to go to New York.

"Yes."

"I'm so excited!" I squealed.

Mom and dad laughed at me. After a couple minutes of small talk our food came. I ordered breakfast just like everyone else in this small family. The food was delicious.

We walked out of the cafe laughing. It was great to spend time with my parents. Like they said, I haven't spent a lot of time with them and I missed them.

"We should do something else also." Dad commented.

"Yeah... how about we go bowling?" Mom thought of.

"Yeah that sounds good." My dad responded.

We all got into the car and headed for the bowling ally. The place was recently renovated so it was really nice and fun. They knew what people liked.

We went inside and got our shoes. After we had them on we started programming the computer. Once our names were in there I went up first, then my mom, and finally my dad.

The night was really fun. I hadn't hung out with my parents for a long time and it felt nice to do it. I didn't realize how much I missed them. In the end my dad won because he was on a bowling league when he was in high school and bowling was actually cool.

After bowling we got in the car and drove home. It was about 11 when we got home and I was exhausted. I went to my room and changed into my pajamas and got into bed. It took a little bit to fall asleep though. I kept tossing and turning and I just couldn't seem to fall asleep.

When I did fall asleep though Easton was in my dreams and I don't know what that meant. I dreamt about him kidnaping me and then I was kidnapped by some other creepy man. I woke up gasping. Everything made sense now. I just realized how I actually got into the hospital in the first place. I just got my memory back.
