Lily's POV

The men were still not caught yet and my parents were still paranoid. On the bright side tennis started today. I was really excited. Tennis season was probably my favorite part of the year. I was getting ready for tennis practice. I put on basketball shorts and a comfy t-shirt. I pulled my tennis bag out of my closet and made sure that my tennis rackets and  shoes were still in there.

I hauled all my stuff downstairs with me and was greeted by my mom. I didn't really know about my parents at this point. They should have told me why I was really in the hospital right away.

"Are you really going to tennis?" My mom asked while looking at me wearily.

My reply was simple, "Yes."

My mom gave a long sigh and shot me a look.

"Don't give me that mom. This is a small town and the cops are never far away. I will be fine. Don't forget that I am not coming home after practice, I am going over to Easton's."

"Fine sweetie. Just be safe please." My mom said defeated.

"I will be." With that I grabbed my stuff and left.

When I reached the courts the coach was already there.

"Hey Rhonda." I yelled.

"Hey Lily."

Rhonda was a teacher at the school I go to. She was very laid back which was awesome. She is also a great friend even though some people think it's weird.

I helped her set up for practice while we waited for everyone else to show up. Slowly but surely everyone finally did. We got a new player this year!. I loved the newbies. Its great getting to know them.

We ran a couple laps and then got right into doing forehands and backhands. When we were done with that we moved onto serving. We played a couple games and then practice was over.

I packed up all my stuff and loaded it into my car and headed to Easton's house. Honestly I was kind of trying to avoid my parents. I'm not going to tell them that though.

When I got to Easton's house I went straight up to his room. I walked in and flopped on his bed because I heard the shower running. I just laid there for a couple minutes and finally I heard the door open.

"Hey princess. How was practice?" Easton greeted while going into his closet.

"Practice was good. I'm a little sore from not playing for a while though." I replied.

Easton walked out of the closet dressed and sat on the bed with me.

"Well if you are sore, I can help you with that." He replied while he started rubbing my back.

It felt so good. He should really get a job as a massage therapist or something because this was amazing.

After about fifteen minutes he stood up and put his shoes on. I walked over to him and thanked him for the back rub by giving him a kiss.

"Are you ready to go princess?" Easton asked.

I nodded my head and held his hand while we walked out of his room. We started hiking through the forest again. I liked that we did this a lot. It is very relaxing for me. This time though we went on a path that I have never been on before.  There were so many flowers down this path and it is so pretty.

"Do you want to go out for lunch tomorrow after your practice?" Easton asked me after a couple minutes of silence.

"Sure that would be nice." I replied. "It gives me a reason not to be home so I like it."

Easton gave me a stern look. "You can't avoid your parents forever."

"I know but think of my position. I ended up in the hospital I didn't know how. They wouldn't tell me. I don't remember anything that happened to me. All I know is that I hit my head and lost my memory."

Easton didn't reply to that, he just kept walking.  After a couple minutes he finally responded. "I know that it sucked but they are your parents. They know what's best for you. I'm sure they would have told you soon after everything settled down a little." I just sighed a little and responded with a small ok. We just kept walking without talking after that.

When we were about thirty minutes into our walk I heard a rustle in the trees to my left. Easton tensed up.

"Get behind me." He said in a tone that indicated don't mess with me.

I immediately listened to him because I am pretty sure he knows what he is doing. I mean he owns these woods so he knows all about it.

Out of the trees came two guys. Not going to lie, they were kind of scary looking.

"What are you doing on my land?" Easton asked still tense. I put my hand in his hand even though I was still behind him. I figured it might help a little.

"I think you know why we are here." One of the guys responded.

"You need to leave."

"You know that we aren't going to do that." The guy replied to Easton while the other guy lunged.

It all happened so fast. The one guy was attacking Easton and the other guy came, threw me over his shoulder and ran. It was hard trying to get off because my head was bouncing around and it was hard to think. Everything was happening in a blur.

I saw Easton running behind the man. Soon the man slowed to a stop and turned around to face Easton.

"Put her down." Easton demanded.

"Okay." The man whipped me off of his shoulder so I was standing and took my arm and started bending it in the wrong direction. "You make one move towards me and I will dislocate her shoulder."

Easton held his hands up in the surrender motion and the guy loosened his grip a little. A couple seconds later Easton turned into a wolf and lunged at us. I felt a searing pain in my shoulder and was tossed to the side.

I laid on the ground trying to process what was happening. It was very hard to. After a couple minutes I saw the wolf turn back into Easton. He rushed over to me.

"Are you ok princess?" He asked but it sounded fuzzy.

"W-what?" I asked while I blanked out.
