Lily's POV

Today was the day. I was graduating! I was currently getting ready. I put on a nice dress and started curling my hair. Easton was going to meet me at school so I didn't have to rush.

It has been two years since I have met him. It was an amazing two years. He always did things that made me smile and he knew exactly what to do overtime something was wrong.

The day that he apologized to me was one of my favorite memories. It was one of my favorites because he was so sweet and I have no idea what I did to deserve a guy like Easton. He was just so sweet.

I finished curling my hair and went downstairs.

"I'm ready." I announced to my parents.

"Ok then lets go." Dad said while grabbing the keys.

I was kind of nervous about graduation. I have never liked going up in front of big crowds. Also I haven't told Easton that I got accepted into a college a couple hours away. I really want to be a teacher and I want to follow that dream. I know how Easton will take it. He will be mad because he doesn't want to be away from me. He also is very protective of me so I know that it will not go well.

I saw Easton waiting by the school when we made it into the parking lot. I quickly got out of the car after my dad parked it of course. I basically ran to Easton. I jumped into his arms and gave him a big hug.

"Hello princess." Easton said while kissing my temple.

I loved the little kisses he gave me. It made me feel very special. When we got back together he was very worried that he was going to rush the relationship. So the little kisses started because he didn't want to rush me. I thought that it was very thoughtful of him.

"Are you excited?" He asked me.

I gave him a smile. "Yeah but I am kind of nervous. What if I trip or something."

"You will do fine." Easton wrapped an arm around my waist and started walking towards my parents.

"Are you ready to go in?" Mom asked me.

"As ready as I will ever be."

I took a deep breath as we enter the school. I went to where my class was and turned to Easton.

"I'll see you in a little bit." I told him.
"I will be waiting." Easton replied. He leaned in and gave me a quick kiss and then left.

I was told to put on the robe I was supposed to wear and got it on. I was then ushered into the line up. I still feel like the teachers think that we are little kids. They treat us like that.

The graduation went smoothly. I was currently trying to find my way back to Easton and my parents. There were so many people. When I found them I sped up a little. I launched myself into my parents arms.

"We're so proud of you honey." My dad exclaimed.

"Me too princess." Easton budded in.

I got out of my parents arms and went to Easton.

"Thank you." I said while hugging him.

We walked out of the school and I told my parents that I was going to Easton's house for a little bit. I went to Easton's car and got in.

The drive was silent and when we got to his house we were still silent. We went upstairs to his bedroom and I sat on his bed. I started fidgeting because I know I'm going to have to tell him.

Easton looked at me and then said, "What's wrong?"

"I got accepted into a college."

"Thats great princess!" Easton exclaimed.

I looked away from him. "It's a couple of hours away."

"Then no. I can't have you away from me!"

"I know but I am still going." I replied.

"No you won't."

"Yes I am. Do you want to know why?" I asked. I didn't give him anytime to answer before I continued. "I am going because it is my dream to be a teacher. I am going to fulfill that dream. If you don't like that then you are going to have to put on big boy pants because I am going. If you want me to be safe then send someone to come stay with me or come with me yourself."

Easton pinched the bridge of his nose. He sighed tiredly.

"You can go." He replied quietly.

"Really?" I asked getting excited.

"Yeah. It's only fair that you get to follow your dreams. I want you to be happy princess. I will be sending someone with you like you said though."

"I don't even care." I replied. "I still get to go. I will come back every weekend."

"I don't doubt it princess." Easton came and gave me a big bear hug.

Easton and I have had some rough patches but we have always worked through them. I am super grateful that I met Easton in the diner a couple years ago. I have always and will always be Easton's princess.
