Easton's Princess

Chapter 17

Lily's POV

I wasn't in school for a total of two weeks. I was kind of stressed out about having to go back because of all the homework I would have to make up. I would have to face it tomorrow though. Currently Easton and we're cuddling in my bed. He knew I was nervous. I'm pretty sure he could tell with how jittery I was.

"Princess you will do fine. Do you want to come over after school?" I nodded immediately. I haven't been to Easton's house since I found out he was a werewolf so I don't know what they will all think of me but I get to be with Easton so its ok.

When Easton left I knew it was almost time to face school. When I woke up in the morning I put on leggings and Easton's sweatshirt. It still smelled like him so I figure I could wear it a couple more times before I have to give it back.

My mom drove me to school because I am not supposed to be driving. School was terrible.  Everyone acted like I was made of glass. I got all the homework from the past two weeks and the stack is huge. I don't know how I will get it done.

Easton picked me up right after school because I wasn't aloud to play tennis anymore this season. It made me very sad because tennis is the only sport I play and I love it. The ride to Easton's house was quiet. I fell asleep because of how tired I was.

I woke up in Easton's room. I got out of bed and switched my leggings for a pair of Easton's sweatpants. I went downstairs and found Easton in the living room. I grabbed my backpack and sat by him.

I took out my homework and started working on math because I didn't think that it would be a bad place to start. I got three of the math assignments done before Easton told me that it was time to eat supper.

I shoved my stuff onto the couch and when I was just about to get up, Easton picked me up. That just made me laugh.

When we got there Easton set me down and then kissed my forehead. He pulled out my chair for me and then pushed me in. I looked up and saw his family staring at us and I looked down and blushed.

We started eating with the chatter of what people did today and the normal dinner table chatter.

"Lily, are you feeling better?" Easton's mom asked me.

"Yes I am, thank you for asking."

After we were done eating I helped clean up the dishes and then I left to find Easton. I went to the living room first so I could grab my backpack. My backpack was not on the couch where I left it. I went to find Easton next, I could worry about my backpack later.

Easton was in his room with my backpack. On his bed was a ton of blankets.

"Come here. You did enough homework for tonight. I just want to cuddle with my mate." Easton said as he saw me.

"Okay."

I walked over and got into the bed. Easton pulled the blankets over us and snuggled into me.

"I really love this, just being with you and doing this." Easton said while placing light kisses on my jawline. He moved and kissed me on my lips. "I love you."

I looked at him and kissed him. "I love you too." I said while smiling.

Easton had a look of relief cross his face. He kissed me all over my face. I started giggling. This night was perfect.

The next morning Easton woke me up to get ready for school. I stole another one of his sweatshirts and borrowed a pair of his sisters leggings.

Easton drove up to my school. "I will see you after school okay?'

"Okay." I replied while nodding my head.

"I love you."

"I love you too." I replied while kissing him square on the lips.

"Have a great day princess." Easton yelled out as I was walking away.

I turned around and waved goodbye to him. It was going to be a long day without him. Every chance throughout the day I worked on all of my homework. By the end of the day I was tired. I didn't want to do anything else.

Easton was outside of the school waiting for me like he promised. I got in the car and kissed Easton. We stopped at my house first to tell my parents that I was sleeping over at Easton's again.

After that we went to eat. It was at a diner. The food was really good. When we got to Easton's house I decided that I should do some more homework.

"I have to go work in my office for a little bit princess."

That was great news for me. "Can I go with you? I need to do more homework."

"Of course." Was his simple reply. He took my hand and we went to his office. He pulled up a couch to the other side of his desk and I did my homework while he did paperwork.

We worked in silence for about an hour before there was insisting knocking on the door.

"Alpha, there are rouges." Easton sighed and got up.

"Ok. I will be right there." He turned to me. "I will be right back princess." He kissed me and then walked out of the room.

I went back to doing my homework. I trust that Easton will be fine.

Then I heard glass shatter. I screamed and saw a person in the room with me. He started walking toward me and I panicked.

"No! Stay away from me!" I yelled.

The man kept advancing toward me and I bolted for the door. I got tackled and I fought back. I could never seem to catch a break. I wrestled trying to keep him from doing anything I felt a little pinch in my arm and I slowly felt my body go limp.

The man picked me up and jumped out the window.
