Easton's Princess

Chapter 16

Easton's POV

Lily hasn't woken up yet and I am getting very scared. I know that being with her will help though because that is what mates do for each other. I don't want her to freak out when she wakes up. Humans aren't supposed to know that werewolves exist. The only time it is allowed is when the human is a mate. Even then they need to know that they can't tell anyone. I just hope that my princess wakes up so I know she is fine.

Lily's POV

My head is killing me. Even the smallest sound bothers me. I slowly opened my eyes to find that I am in the hospital. I look to my right and see my mom and dad sleeping on the couch. I decided that I shouldn't wake them up because that would be rude.

I was still very tired so I decided to go back to sleep. When I woke up the second time I felt a little bit better. I wasn't as tired as before but I still felt like I could sleep for a long time. I slowly sat up trying not to make my headache as bad as it was the first time I woke up.

I sat in silence for a couple minutes listening to the heart monitor. Then Easton walked into the room.

When Easton saw me he immediately rushed over. "Hey princess how are you feeling?"

"I'm alright." My voice still slurred a little when I talked. It also sounded raspy. "Why are you here." I demanded.

"You still remember what I am right?" He asked. I nodded my head. "Well werewolves have these things called mates. Its like soul mates. The one person that you are destined to be with. That person happens to be you princess." Easton explained while smoothing my hair back.

"Is that why I feel so calm when I am with you? Why I feel the sparks?" I asked.

"Yes it is princess. We are meant to be together and I plan to make it up to for how you found out about me." Easton stood up and got me some water.

"Really?"

"Yup. Now just know that I am not going to leave you ok? You are my princess." He responded. He leaned down and kissed my temple. "Now I have to go get the nurse and tell them that you are awake. You were asleep for a week."

I nodded tiredly while yawning.

"Don't fall asleep while I'm gone ok? I want to see that beautiful smile when I walk back in this room with the nurse."

I nodded again while smiling softly.

I leaned back and pulled the blankets up more. I noticed how weak my arms were. Easton walked back into the room with a nurse and doctor. My parents were right behind them as well. 

"How are you feeling?" The doctor asked me.

"Ok I guess."

"The slur in your voice should be gone in a couple days and we are going to keep you here for a couple days to make sure that everything is fine. Even when you go home you are going to have to be careful. You are probably going to be very tired." I nodded my head. "Now if everyone could please step out of the room so we can figure out if anything else is wrong." The doctor said while ushering everyone out of the room.

The exam was very simple. He asked some questions and shined a light into my eyes. When he left I felt like I would pass out from how tired I was. When Easton came into the room, he noticed how tired I was.

"You can sleep princess. You look very tired." He commented.

I nodded my head and laid down. I closed my eyes and got into a comfortable position. I felt the blankets move and someone tuck me in. I then fell into oblivion.

It was like that for the next day. I would take naps and then stay up for a bit and then take another nap. The second day was better. I felt like I had more strength. I even got real food the second day too.

Easton has not left my room since I woke up. Other than to use the bathroom and to go home to shower and change, he has been with me. He was my mate and I honestly love that fact. Easton is an amazing guy.

The day has come. I was going to be discharged and I am so excited. I finally get to sleep in my own bed.

"Here you go princess." Easton said who holding out clothes. It was a pair of sweatpants and one of his sweatshirts.

I went to the bathroom to change and when I came out, Easton had gathered all of my stuff in one arm.

"Are you ready?" He asked.

I nodded my head and went to him. He wrapped his arm around my shoulder and we walked out of the room.

My parents brought the car up to the entrance so I wouldn't have to walk that far. Easton helped me get into the car and buckled me in.

"I will meet you at your house. Ok princess?" Easton asked.

I nodded my head. Easton bent down and kissed my temple then closed the door and walked to his car.

The drive home was filled with the music from the radio. My mom and dad didn't really talk and that was okay. It was a comfortable silence.

My parents parked the car in the drive way and my dad helped me walk into the house. Easton still had all of my stuff and I didn't really care. I just wanted to sit down and watch movies.

I walked to the bathroom and saw boxes of contacts on the counter for me. I don't know why they took so long to get in but whatever. I didn't really care. I did my business then went into my room.

I went to the closet and grabbed three more blankets because I was freezing. I got underneath the covers and then proceeded to put the other blankets on me.

When I was done I turned on my tv and went to netflix. I started watching Lemonade Mouth. I love Disney movies. I thought they were so good.

About ten minutes into the movie my door opened and in walked Easton. "Hey princess." He greeted me.

"Hey."

Easton sat on the bed and I immediately snuggled into him. It was perfect we watched movies all day. I don't remember when Easton left but when I woke up briefly I saw a note saying that he promises to come back tomorrow. I fell asleep with a smile on my face.
