Easton's Princess

Chapter 18

Lillian's POV

The drug that the man put in my body just paralyzed me. That made me more scared because I could see everything they were doing. The man ran through the woods at a very fast pace.

I heard growls all around us. He stopped in a clearing and whistled. Everyone stopped fighting and looked over.

"I have the precious Luna here. If anyone moves I will kill her." The man stated. "Now listen to my alpha."

The guy moved over and dropped me, literally dropped me, and a guy walked out.

"Hello everyone. I have come here and I am going to state my demands. I'm sure everyone knows Brad right? Well he failed in his mission. So I will be taking over. It's simple really, I want this pack. You hand it over or I will kill her. He gestured to me.

Easton growled. "Step away from my mate."

"No can do Mr. Alpha. Not until you accept my deal, otherwise there will be war."

"I would rather face the war." Easton replied. "She is my mate and I will not let you guys take over my pack. You have to go through me first."

"That can be arranged very quickly." The mysterious man replied right before he shifted.

The man lunged at Easton and that movement made everyone start fighting again. Someone from Easton's pack came over.

"It's ok Lily. My name is James. I am the beta. I am going to move you and keep you safe. Orders from Easton."

I wanted to reply but I couldn't. This drug was making me feel sick. As James was moving me, I got a sudden case of motion sickness. I threw up and James patted my back awkwardly and kept moving. We were almost back to the house when James stopped and growled.

He set me down and propped me up against a tree.

The "alpha" walked out wearing a pair of shorts.

"I will take the girl please."

"Not for eternity." James replied with a growl.

"Very well then."

The guy shifted for a second time and attacked James. Meanwhile I was useless. They fought for a few minutes before I saw James pass out.

The man shifted back and came over and picked me up.

"You have cause me a lot of trouble my dear Lily."

"Put her down." A voice from behind us said. The man turned around and there stood Easton.

"Why should I?" The man asked trying to get Easton riled up.

"She is my mate."

"Ok then. I guess we will have to fight old style. You ever wins gets the lovely princess." The man sneered.

Without warning the guy tossed me aside and I smacked against the tree like a rag doll. The guy lunged for Easton.

I don't know how long the fight lasted. My mind was hazy and the drug was finally starting to wear off. I could kind of move my fingers now.

I saw Easton walk over and I turned my head. Pain immediately blossomed from the back of my head. I winced and Easton noticed.

"I know it hurts princess. I am going to take you to the doctor. Ok?" Easton asked me.

I kind of nodded my head but I don't know. Easton carefully picked me up and started walking toward the house. He walked straight to the hospital part.

He picked an empty room and set me down on the bed. A doctor came in a couple minutes after that.

"I was told you hit your head pretty hard." The doctor stated as he came in.

I did something that I thought was close to a nod but my head was getting hazier. The doctor examined my head. He gave a weird noise.

"Alpha can I talk to you outside for a moment." Easton nodded. The doctor looked at me. "Please don't fall asleep while we are out there Luna."

They walked out of the room. My limbs were becoming less numb and I was happy for that. I don't like not being able to do anything. It was horrible. I pulled the blankets up higher wishing that I could sleep. I was so tired.

Easton came back in. "I'm sorry princess but you won't be able to sleep for a little bit. You have a concussion. What do you want to do?"

I thought about it for a moment. "Can you tell me a story?" I whispered.

"Of course princess."

The rest of the day went with Easton telling me a story about a princess. It got annoying when the doctors interrupted him though by coming in and asking me questions.

Finally the time came. "Alpha she can sleep after these set of questions."

The doctors asked me the questions and left the room.

"To finish the story, the princess was rescued by prince charming from the evil witch. They lived happily ever after in their castle. Now you can go to sleep princess. I will be here when you wake up."

"Can you lay with me?" I asked. I was freezing and I knew he was warm. Also, I just wanted him closer.

"Of course."

I moved over to make room. Easton got in the bed and got comfortable. Once he was, I scooted over and laid my head on his chest. I pulled the blanket up higher and snuggled into him.

"Good night princess." I heard Easton say as I drifted off to sleep.
