Easton's Princess

Chapter 12

Lily's POV

It was the day for the date with the Easton guy.
I put on a dress that ended a little above my knees and my doc martins. I walked downstairs to wait for him. When I got down there, I was greeted by my mom.

"You look so pretty honey." My mom exclaimed.

"Thank you."

Just then the doorbell rang. I walked to get it and was me with Easton. He was holding a bouquet of lilies.

"I got these for you." Easton said while handing me the pretty flowers.

"Thank you so much. You can come in and I will put these in a vase."

He followed me into the kitchen where my mom was.

"Those flowers are so pretty!" My mom said.

She went over to the cupboard and grabbed out a vase and gave it to me. I filled it with water and put the flowers in.

"Are you ready to go?" Easton asked.

"Yeah. See you later mom."

"Bye honey, have fun." With that we were out the door. We got into his car and started driving.

"So where are we going?" I asked.

"It's a surprise." He looked over at me and gave me a smile.

We drove for a while and eventually we ended up at a restaurant. It wasn't a very fancy one but that was fine with me. I don't really like fancy things. Easton got out of the car and walked over to my side and opened my door.

"Thank you."

"Your welcome."

We walked into the restaurant. We were lead to a booth and waited for the server.

"Hi how are you guys doing tonight?" The waitress asked coming up to us.

"Good." Easton and I replied at the same time. We looked at each other. He gave me a smile and I felt my face heat up.

"That's good. Can I get you guys something to drink?"

"I'll just have a water please." I replied.

"Ok and for you?" The waitress looked over to Easton.

"I'll take a Coke please."

"Ok I will be right back with those." The waitress walked away.

"You know you could have gotten a soda if you wanted. You can get anything you want." Easton told me while opening his menu.

"Its fine, I don't drink soda."

"Really?"

"Yeah." I replied while looking down at my menu blushing.

"I will keep that in mind then."

After about a minute the waitress came back with our drinks. She set them down and pushed them toward us.

"There you go and what would you guys like to eat?"

"I'll have the omelet with hash browns please." I said after Easton made the motion for me to go first.

"I will have a cheeseburger and fries please."

"Ok."

"So what do you like to do?" Easton asked me.

"I like to read mostly. I also play tennis." I replied.

"When does tennis start for you? It must be coming up soon."

"Yeah it is in two weeks. That is when our first practice is."

"That's cool." Easton replied.

"So what do you like to do?" I asked the same question back.

"Well I like to read also and I like to work a lot for my dad's business."

"Really?" I asked interested. "What is the business?"

"It's a construction business."

"That's so cool." I replied. When I got older I want to design my own house so I can make it mine. It would be unique.

We made small talk the rest of the time before the food came. We ate and then we left the restaurant after paying of course.

"I don't know about you but I don't want this date to end so soon, would you like to take a walk?"

"Yeah definitely." I replied.

We walked down to the lake and sat on the dock.

"You know this date didn't go as bad as I thought it would." I commented.

"Same here."

I shivered from the cold. Easton noticed and took off his jacket and put it around my shoulders.

"I had a really good time tonight." I said.

"Me too. Do you want to go on another date with me?" Easton asked looking hopeful.

"Yeah. That would be nice."
