"You-you should go check on George, Lizzy." Paul said not wanting Liz to leave.

Liz nodded, gave Paul a hug and a kiss and went upstairs. Liz knocked on the door.

"Georgie? Can I come in?" Liz asked.

"Come in." George muttered.

George was lying on the bed with his stomach facing up.

"I almost killed him." George said blankly towards the ceiling.

"George it's not your fau-" Liz was cut off.

"Don't even say that Liz! It's all my fault! If I wasn't such a bastard, I wouldn't have even gotten the gun! It's all my damn fault!" George yelled, starting to cry again.

"It'll be alright George! Stop blaming yourself! We can go check on John later and you'll see that he's alright!"

George finally agreed to that and Liz got in bed with George. Liz laid next to George and put her hand up under his shirt.

"Oh my god, you're freezing!" Liz said.

"It's cold outside, what do you expect?"

Liz cuddled closer to George and wrapped her legs around him.

"Thanks, Love." George said kissing her forehead.

George played with the necklace around Liz's neck and then tucked it into Liz's shirt, making her blush. Liz had just started to take off George's shirt when Paul called them down.

Liz and George came down the stairs with Liz on George's back.

"Someone's looking better!" Paul said a bit jealous of George.

"What did ya want, Paulie?" Liz asked.

"I set up a surprise for you two." He said.

George and Liz looked at each other confused.

"Well actually, I set up George's surprise for you two." Paul corrected himself.

He walked the two into the kitchen and sat them down at a table he had set up. It had a white tablecloth on it, candles, and all the plates and silverware set up.

"Oh my god! It's beautiful!" Liz squealed as she hugged Paul and gave him a kiss on the cheek.

George squirmed in his chair feeling a bit uncomfortable. Liz saw his jealousy and quickly rushed to him. Liz sat on his lap and put her arms around his neck.

"And thank you too, Georgie!" She said giving him a dramatic kiss on the cheek and all on his face. George giggled and kissed her back.

"Well I'll leave you two alone..." Paul said awkwardly.

"Thanks again, Paul!" Liz said before Paul headed home.

"Shall we eat?" George asked.

Liz nodded and sat down. The two had their meals that George had prepared before and that Paul completed.

"It was so nice of Paul to do this." Liz said playing with her food.

"Mhm...." George said passively.

"Liz?" George asked.

"Yes Georgie?" She answered.

"Um...do you um...like Paul?" George asked nervous.

"Of course I like Paul! Sweet guy." Liz said.

"No... I mean...do you really like him?" George said making a puppy dog face at Liz.

Liz put her fork down and looked at George.

"George... It's been a rough day...I don't want to really-" Liz was cut off.

"You do like him, don't you?" George asked sadly.

Liz gave George a look that he knew meant that she was very conflicted.

"If-if you wanna be with Paul... I-I understand." George said wanting Liz to be happy.

"But George I love you!" Liz said.

"And I love you too Liz! That's why I want you to be happy. If you like Paul more than me, then go be happy with Paul. I'll understand." George said wiping the tears that were about to fall down his face.

Liz went over to George and gave him the most passionate hugs she could give.

"Thanks for the option, but I think I'm already happy with you." Liz said putting her head on his shoulder.

"And that makes me even happier." George said, giving Liz butterfly kisses around her neck.

"I love you more than anyone else in the whole world, Georgie." Liz said wanting to be in George's arms forever.

"And I love you more than anyone else in the whole world." George replied placing his hands on her waist.

Liz wrapped her arms around George's neck and kissed him. George pushed Liz back to a wall and wrapped himself around her. Liz slowly moved her hands down to George's waist and put her hands in his back pockets. George kissed her for what felt like eternity when someone opened the door.

It was Paul.

Paul was about to say something when he saw George and Liz making out. He was a bit heartbroken by the scene but continued anyway. "I went to go see John-"

"Is he alright?" Liz asked.

Paul nodded. "The doctors said he'll be in the hospital for a few days but he should be out soon. Oh and they aren't going to try anyone for his being shot..."

"Did you speak to John?" Liz asked.

"Yea, that's why I came here; he wants to see you Lizzy." Paul said.

"Oh...alright." Liz answered.

George dropped Liz off at the hospital and waited in the lobby.

Liz walked into John's room and saw a sight she hoped to never see again. It reminded her too much of when George was in the hospital. He was hooked up to IVs and other tubes and machines.

"Hey, Love." He said weakly.

"Hi Johnny." Liz said not as frightened by him now.

"Liz... I just wanted to truly apologize for all of I've done to you. I wasn't sure how to make it all up to you until I was walking by your house earlier and saw George with a gun pointed at himself. I-I thought that by saving George's life, y-you might've forgiven me."

"John I do forgive you, but why did you want to apologize in the first place? I mean you didn't seem to feel bad before." Liz asked confused.

"Because.... I realized something. I realized that I love you Liz. I love you like mad." John admitted. He weakly moved his hand to Liz's and took her hand and held onto it. He soon pulled it up to his face and kissed it.

"I'm so sorry." He said again.

"It's alright." Liz said and kissed him on the forehead.

Before she leaned back down from his forehead, John was able to grab her cheeks and kiss her on the lips. Liz's eyes shot open with shock.

John smiled at Liz and Liz fake smiled back to him.

"I love you, my sweet, sweet Lizzy." He said once again cheerfully.

Liz saw that John was dead serious. She didn't know what to do.

Liz smiled at John and left him disappointed that she didn't say she loved him back.

Before Liz left, John called her weakly and gave her a letter.

"It-It's for you, Love." John said. "I hope you like it." He said blushing.

"Thanks, John." Liz said. "I'll come check on you tomorrow."

John smiled at the fact that Liz was coming to see him soon. She waved and John waved back.
