"No, I'll let you finish up in here." Paul apologized.

"Oh please, it's alright." Linda smirked.

"I really should just get ready for bed..." Paul said, tempted by the new bird.

"Oh c'mon. Don't you wanna get your mind off of Liz and George for a little?" Linda begged.

"I suppose I do." Paul said a bit more willingly.

"I can help you." She smiled.

Linda stepped closer to Paul, only covered by a thin towel. She wrapped her arms around Paul and the towel nearly fell off. She looked at Paul and he looked at her and something happened. The two lost themselves.

"Linda, you have the most beautiful eyes..." Paul commented.

"Oh please, yours are just stunning." She blushed.

Paul blushed too and Linda nearly lost it.

"Being a photographer, I've seen a lot of men, but Paul...you are just lovely." Linda said as her towel began to fall off. Paul fought the urge not to look down at her body.

"Um...is there a robe I could borrow? I don't have any clean pajamas since I only packed for a few days here." Linda asked.

"Here, you can use my robe." Paul said wrapping it around her.

"Thanks." Linda smiled.

"Um...is there a guest room here or should I sleep on the couch. I don't mind-"

"You can sleep in my room." Paul blurted out.

Linda laughed. "Are you sure?"

Paul nodded his head. "I mean...you don't have to but-"

"Thanks." Linda said and Paul led her to his room in George's house.

"The storm isn't too bad so I think we'll be fine." Paul smiled.

Paul offered Linda some of Liz's pajamas.

"She won't mind, will she?" Linda worried.

"Liz? She's a lovely girl. Why would you think she would mind?" Paul asked.

"I-I don't think she likes me."

"What makes you say that?" Paul asked.

"When she the two of us, she appeared a bit upset. Have you two been dating for a while?"

"Well...it's on and off really. George has been through too much and to be honest I've been through a bit recently as well. My-my best mate...he -uh- passed 5 days ago and it's been pretty hard." Paul said as a tear formed in his eye.

"Paul, I had no idea! I'm so sorry." Linda sympathized as she gave him a hug.

Paul hugged her back and didn't let go.

"I was with Lizzy and she has been helping me through everything, but George was recently diagnosed with cancer so I told her to leave me so she could support George and I've been so lost lately." Paul said as he laid his head on her shoulder.

"I'll help you. I promise. Maybe I can stay here. Do you think George would let me live here? I hate to invite myself but I think I really should help. My parents could send all of my stuff." Linda wondered.

"I'm sure George would let you." Paul said, now crying.

Liz looked at the bed-side table and saw a picture frame. She walked over and picked it up.

"Is this John?" Linda asked.

"Yea." Paul answered as he looked at the picture of John giving Paul a kiss on the cheek.

"I'm not asking this in a negative way, but was John...uh...homosexual?" Linda asked, embarrassed by her question.

"Yes. We actually...dated for a while." Paul admitted. "Linda, I'm a bisexual."

"I don't mind." Linda said with a smile.

"Thank you."

Linda went to go brush her teeth and Paul laid on the bed with the picture of him and John. He lied on his side and rested the frame on a pillow next to him. He kissed his finger and placed it on the image of John.

"I love you, Johnny. Never forget that." Paul whispered and let a tear roll down his cheek.

He imagined John saying that he loved Paul too and then realized that he'd never hear those words again coming from the mouth of his love.

Paul heard Linda's footsteps and placed the frame back on the table. Linda laid down next to Paul but made sure not to get too close. But Paul pulled her closer anyway. She blushed and Paul gave her a kiss on the cheek.

"I like you, Linda." Paul whispered and the two fell asleep.
