"What do you want to do today?" George asked.

"Whatever you want to do." She smiled back.

"Park!" Julian exclaimed.

Paul smiled at Julian.

"To the park today?" Paul asked.

Everyone agreed.

"Oh Linda, could you lend some of your clothes to Prudence until we can buy her some of her own?" George asked.

Linda nodded with her mouth stuffed with food.

"Does it matter which outfit she borrows for today?" He asked.

Linda shook her head.

"Take whatever."

George nodded and he took Prudence upstairs. They went into Paul and Linda's room and opened the closet.

"You heard her, whatever you like, Sweetie."

Prudence took a simple and casual, white dress.

"Is this alright?" She asked nervously.

"Perfect."

He took her back and let her change. She did quickly in the bathroom and asked George for some help.

"What's wrong?" He asked.

She walked out with her cheeks red of embarrassment.

"It's a bit big." She said and showed how much extra space she had in the dress.

"No problem, Love." He said and took her into the bathroom.

"Stay here for a moment." He told her.

He hurried back to Linda's closet and grabbed a thin, white belt.

"Here we go." He said as he returned to Prudence.

He gently wrapped the belt around her extremely thin waist and fixed it on her.

"There. Gorgeous as ever." He said and smiled at her in the mirror.

"Could I have a brush?" She asked.

"Here." He handed her one.

She brushed her long hair and soon got frustrated.

"I hate my hair." She said as she tried to get a knot out.

"Maybe if we..." George began to say as he braided her hair into two separate braids.

He finished and put yellow ribbons at the bottom.

George kissed her forehead.

"What do you think?" He asked.

She looked at herself in the mirror and turned to George. She gave him a massive hug. He was a bit taken back at first but soon returned the hug.

"To the park?" He asked.

"To the park." She nodded and they headed downstairs.

Paul, Linda and Julian were already ready. Paul and Linda were kissing and Julian was pointing at them.

"Eww." Julian said.

Linda looked at him and laughed. Paul crouched down next to Julian.

"You'll change your mind one day." Paul winked at him.

They headed out and Julian was walking ahead by himself. Paul and Linda walked closely behind Julian and George and Prudence were a bit farther back.

Prudence looked a little uncomfortable.

"Something bothering you?" George asked.

"Oh...no." She lied and rubbed her wrists.

"Paul we'll catch up in a second!" George called out.

Paul showed him a thumbs up and continued walking.

"George, I'm fine." She told him.

"Then why do you look sad?" He asked.

"I didn't realize this dress didn't have long sleeves earlier." She explained.

"Oh." George said. "No need to worry. Paul and I used to cut and we slip up every now and then. I promise, we won't say anything."

Prudence bit her lip.

"Alright." She said.

They began to catch up to the other three quickly.

There were a few other people at the park; mainly people their age that were messing around.

Prudence and George sat on the bench and talked. Paul and Linda were playing with Julian. The boys that were already at the park started to come closer to George and Prudence.

The two hadn't noticed until it was too late to tell them to back off.

"The hell's wrong with that girl? She looks like a twig!" One laughed.

"She must know that too cause she's got cuts all over her arms." Another one shouted.

Before George could defend her she ran off.

"Fuck off!" George shouted at the boys.

They laughed but went away.

"Paul, I'm gonna find Prudence! I'll be back soon." George told Paul.

"Good luck, Mate." Paul shouted back.

George ran off to find Prudence.

He found her crying on the side of a building.

"Prudence!" George shouted at her and ran quickly.

She continued to cry.

"Sweetie, I'm so sorry. I didn't know they were gonna be here." George apologized.

Prudence looked up at George.

"You said no one was gonna say anything!" She cried.

"I'm so terribly sorry, Love! I swear I didn't know those guys were here!" George apologized again and sat next to her.

"Here sit on my lap, I don't want you to get dirty." George said and helped her with her cast.

He wrapped his arms around her and cradled her. He carefully massaged her wrists and arms. He kissed her neck and fixed her hair.

"Prudence, forgive me please! I swear I won't let it happen again." He promised and turned her around to kiss her.
