Linda broke down crying and Paul was having a panic attack.

"Not you too." He cried. "You'll be alright won't you?"

She shrugged her shoulders, "I can't make any promises."

"But...Linda... Linda you can't- you're the only person left. You can't!" Paul moaned.

Paul held her head in his hands and go impossibly close to her.

"I'm spending the rest of my life with you. You're not going anywhere; you just can't." He cried.

"You'll be fine." She said calmly.

"Why are you talking like you're gonna go?" He bawled.

"I just want you to be prepared if anything happens."

Paul's mouth opened and closed but no sounds came out. He fell on the floor and pulled at his hair.

"You can't!" He cried.

"If you're gonna act like this, I should probably just leave now." She said.

"Linda, please!" Paul begged.

"Paul, you're breaking down now and I've just been diagnosed. It'd be better if I just left now. I'll take Heather; you won't have another burden on your shoulders."

"Burden? You're anything but a burden. Linda you saved me; don't leave me." He whined. "And Heather's like my own daughter. I love you both."

"Sorry, Paul." She said and began to pack her things.

"You can't be doing this!" He yelled.

"You can't handle it. Let me leave before we get any closer." She explained.

The next few hours were full of Linda packing and Paul crying during it.

"Linda!" He shrieked in an ear-piercing noise.

"Please stop." She begged and finished packing.

"Where are you going to go?" He asked.

"Somewhere." She said vaguely.

"You can't do this!" He pleaded.

"Bye Daddy." Heather said and hugged Paul's leg.

"See ya soon, beautiful girl." Paul said and held back his tears.

"C'mon, Babe." Linda said to Heather and they walked out the door.

Paul watched them for as long as he could but they soon disappeared out of Paul's vision.

Prudence came over by herself later that day and found Paul alone, crying on the couch.

"Hi." She whispered.

Paul looked up at her, his eyes bloodshot and dried tears on his face. His hair was a mess and he was in his pajamas.

"Where's Linda?" She asked innocently.

"Gone." He said lifeless, he stared at the ground blankly.

"She left you?" She asked.

He nodded and lied on the couch.

"She'll come back." Prudence said, encouraging him.

"No she won't; not this time." He sighed.

"Do you want anything?" She offered.

He declined the offer and said she should just go back to Ringo's.

"Are you sure?" She asked.

"Yea. No point in you watching me be all sad." Paul said and begged her kindly to leave.
