John and Paul woke up from their first night together in their new home.
"Morning, Love." Paul said to John, touching his nose with his own.
"Hey Macca." John yawned.
"How'd you sleep?" Paul asked.
"Fine." John said.
"What's you dream about?" Paul asked smiling.
"What did I dream about?" John asked a bit confused.
"Yea, what'd you dream about?" Paul asked again.
"Uh... I don't really remember, sorry Macca."
"It's fine. Wanna hear about my dream?" Paul asked.
"Uh...sure." John said not wanting to disappoint Paul.
"I dreamed about you." He smiled.
"What did we do?" John asked more interested.
"We went to the pier, and we held hands and we kissed and nobody judged us." Paul said happily.
"That sounds wonderful." John said.
"Yea, too bad it can't happen in real life." Paul said disappointed.
"It's alright, Love." John said putting his fingers through Paul's hair. "That's why we're here now. George and Liz won't judge us."
"Yea. I guess." Paul said.
"Something wrong, Paulie?" John asked concerned.
"I just...wanna go out in public and not be judged. I wanna show who I really am and not be judged. Don't you!" Paul asked.
John nodded his head. "We all do, we just can't yet."
Paul put his head back in his pillow and let out a little cry.
"Why can't it be now?!" He cried.
John put his fingers through Paul's hair to calm him.
"I don't know, Love, I don't know." John said calmly.
Paul continued to cry.
"Paulie? Lemme see that beautiful face of yours." John said trying to get Paul to lift his head from the pillow.
"Paulie?" John asked.
Paul looked at John. John smiled and Paul let a small smile form on his face.
"There's my Macca." John said and kissed his forehead.
"Do you wanna get some breakfast?" John asked. "George said he had some pancakes."
Paul nodded his head but didn't get out of bed. "C'mon, Paulie." John urged.
Paul stretched his arm out, wanting John to get him out of bed. John pulled his arm too hard and the two fell on the floor-Paul on top of John. The two giggled.
"Hi, Johnny." Paul laughed.
"Get off, Macca." John chuckled.
Paul shook his head.
"You're so stubborn sometimes, you know." John teased.
Paul made a grumpy face at him.
"I'm just teasing, Love." John said.
Paul smiled. "But seriously, Paul get off."
Paul did and put on a shirt. John did too.
They were walking down the stairs when John stopped him. "Is that my shirt?" John asked.
Paul nodded.
"Why are you wearing it then." John asked.
"Cuz it smells like you." Paul blushed and put the shirt to his nose.
"And what would that smell like?" John asked amused.
"Smells like the Cavern mixed with your cheap cologne." Paul smiled.
John laughed. "We haven't been to the Cavern in a while."
"Yea... We don't have any songs to sing." Paul said.
"We should write some." John said.
"Yea like we could write songs." Paul laughed.
John laughed too thinking it would never happen.
George and Liz were already at the breakfast table.
"Morning." Liz said.
"Hey." John and Paul said.
"Pancakes?" George asked.
The two nodded and sat down.
"Here ya go." Liz said placing a plate in front of Paul.
"Thanks, Love." He said and winked.
John kicked him under the table when he saw him wink at Liz. Paul gave him a kiss on the cheek to make up for it.
George gave John his plate and John watched George's every move when he did it. He stared into George's eyes and would've continued to if Paul hadn't kicked him.
"Stop." Paul said jealous.
"What?" John asked.
"Starin' at George." Paul whispered.
John did and they ate their pancakes.
"We were planning on going to the pier today, wanna come?" George asked Paul and John.
John and Paul looked at each other.
"No thanks, Love. I think we're gonna hang out here today." John said.
"Alright. We'll see you later then." George said as he and Liz began to leave.
"Bye!" Paul said. And the door closed.
"What are we gonna do then, Johnny?" Paul asked.
"I don't know...I wanna know why you winked at Liz." John said irritated.
"It was just a wink, John! It didn't mean anything! I promise, Love." Paul pleaded.
"Are you sure?" John asked.
"Positive!" Paul said kissing John.
"But if we're gonna talk about this, why were you staring at George?" Paul asked worried.
"No reason..." John trailed off.
"Really?" Paul asked.
"Mhmm." John said.
"John?" Paul asked.
"Yes, Love."
"Do-do you like George?" He asked nervous.
"I love you Paul! I love you more than anyone!" John said grabbing the younger man'a waist and pulling him closer.
"Alright." Paul blushed.
"So what are we gonna do?" John asked.
"We are...going to write a song." Paul said happily.
"I doubt I'm good at it." John said.
"C'mon John! It'll be fun! It's not like anyone will ever see 'em." Paul said pulling John up the stairs to their room.
"I guess I'll try..." John said nervous that he'd embarrass himself in front of Paul.
