They had breakfast and headed out to a shop to find a suit for John for the funeral.

"Wanna try that place?" George asked looking at one store.

"Sure." John said.

The two almost entered the store when a group of boys called them.

"Would ya look at that? Lennon's buying a suit! And who's that with him? A new boyfriend, my God is Johnny a queer?" One of the boys joked.

"Fuck off." John yelled at the group.

"Now John, don't be using that language in front of your little boyfriend." Another boy mocked.

"I'm not his boyfriend!" George defended himself.

"Oh right." The boys laughed.

"I'm not!" George whined.

"Will ya just mind your own business?" John asked, irritated as he stood in front of George.

"Then why are you protecting him like that?" They asked.

"Cuz he's my mate, now fuck off."

"Fine. At least tell is why you of all people is buying a suit." A boy dressed in leather asked.

"None of your business!" John yelled.

"Wanna look nice for your Georgie, don't ya?" He asked.

"Shut the hell up!" John said and punched the boy who asked.

Another boy punched him back and made his lip bleed. John wiped the blood away and punched the guy's nose. The lad fell to the ground and tried to stop the blood from coming out of his nose.

"C'mon George." John said as he began to walk away from the group.

George walked with him. They looked around for a few different suits and John tried some on.

After the third suit he tried on, John begged George if they could leave. George finally agreed and they bought the second outfit. They were just walking out when one of the boys from the group punched George in the stomach. George coughed and found himself winded. John dropped the bag that had his new suit and punched the guy back. "I thought I told ya to fuck off!" John screamed.

He picked the bag up again and helped George up. George breathed quickly for a few minutes and then returned to normal. They hurried home and locked the door behind them.

"I'm sorry John, if I hadn't suggested to go out, this wouldn't have happened." George said trying to get the dry blood off of John's lip.

"It's not your fault." John said as he fixed George's hair.

"Is your lip still bleeding?" George asked stepping close to John.

John looked at the shorter lad try to clean up his lip with careful eyes. John pushed his hand down and gave him a quick kiss.

"John!" George said shocked.

"Dammit, sorry George." John blushed.
