Chapter 14

HaeYeon POV
- 1 month later-
When i got home from school, i heard glass broke into pieces, things being slammed and my dad and Jisoo's mom was shouting asking someone to calm down. So i went up stair to see what happen. I look into the room standing right in the middle of the door. All Jisoo's stuff is on the floor, she is smashing all her stuff. "Kang Haeyeon! She! Stole my boyfriend! She took Jaebum away!" She said on tops of her lungs, pointing at me. "How dare you! She is your sister!" Jisoo mom said and walk towards me and land her hand on my cheek.

I was shock, my dad has all his attention on Jisoo trying to calm her down. He just let other women who is not my mother slapped me. "Haeyeon please, let Jaebum go." My dad said. I didn't even start anything with Jaebum. "There is nothing between me and Jaebum." I said holding my tears and hold my fist. "Liar! You stole him!" Jisoo said still in my dad embrace.

"Haeyeon please..." my dad begged. I just look at him. "Me and your mom didn't teach you such thing!" My dad said, more like scolding. "So now you don't believe your daughter?" I said, crying. He stayed silent caressing Jisoo's hair with so called Mrs.Kang beside them. It hurts a lot when your own dad believe someone else when he is the one brought you up. "She could put up such drama, i can end myself too." I said staring at my dad. "Haeyeon- " He said but i didn't let him finish. "There's time when i want to just end my life, but i thought of you and mom, how i'm precious to both of you but looks like now i'm nothing." I said picking up the sharp glass pieces. I put that piece near my neck. "No! Haeyeon!" My dad shouted but it was too late, my vision turns all blur.

Haeyeon's Mom POV
I was washing the dishes and was planning to call my little princess up asking how is she doing. I haven't seen her in a while i miss her. The plates that i wash slipped of my hand and broke into pieces. I tries to clean up, accidentally the i cut my finger. What's wrong today?

"Jaeyeon, your phone." My mom called me. "I'll be there." I quickly ran to get the phone. Who is that? Should be Haeyeon. "Hello?" I answered the phone. "JaeYeon-ah, Haeyeon is in the hospital now. She- she is in the emergency room." Yong Hae (Haeyeon's dad) said. "What happen?" I raised my voice. "I'm sorry." Was all he said. "Which hospital?!" I ask. "_______ hospital." I put down the phone and quickly ran to pack my clothes. I called a taxi, i told my mom and left. What happen to my baby.

Haeyeon POV
I open my eyes, the walls are white. Where am i? "You're awake." A familiar voice said. It was my dad. I just look away from him. I tried to move but my neck hurts. "Don't move you've just finish your operation." My dad said. I look the direction of the couch. Jisoo and her mom is sitting there looking at me fiercely. I ignore it. Suddenly my dad caress my swollen cheek. "I didn't know how hard she hit you." He said in whisper.

"Yah! Kang YongHae! What did you do to my daughter!" A women voice is heard once the door of the room is openned. It's no other then mom. I look at her forcing a smile but tears just fall uncontrolly. She was shock to see me in this state. "My darling what happen?!" She ran beside my bed caressing my swollen cheek, checking did i hurt else where other than my neck.

"Kang YongHae you promised me you will take good care of her. What's with her in this room!" My mom shouted at my dad. "I'm sorry, it's my fault." My dad said. They totally ignore that two horrible person presence. "Excuse me, its not his fault actually, i slapped her for hurting my daughter and she cut herself. Practically its nobody's fault but her own fault." Jisoo my said catching my parents attention. "Sorry, if i'm not mistaken you are the one who broke this family. You slapped my daughter for hurting your daughter? Well i didn't see how your daughter is hurt. I'm sure you all make her feel unbearable." My mom fired at Jisoo's mom.

"Mom." I called. She quickly turn to me. "Yes my dear." She said softly. "I love you." I said. "I know honey, i'm sorry." She said kissing my forehead. "I'm taking her with me." My mom said to dad. "Jaeyeon we talked about this before." My dad said. "No, not anymore leaving her here with you guys and she end up here. It's better she's with me. If not i will lose her anytime." My mom said.

My dad has no choice but accept it. I finally get to move out. The doctor came in out of nowhere. "Sorry for interuption." The doctor says. "I'm here to report her condition, it's lucky her cut is not near to her artery, but she still needs to be careful. If she recover fast she could be discharge 2 days later. She has a little depression but it could be cured if she have a good rest." The doctor said and leave.

"Hello? Jaebum-ah, yeah, i went shopping with Haeyeon. I think she forgot to bring her phone." Jisoo said answering her phone. Great lie. "Don't wait we wont be that early." She said. "Alright bye." She hang up with her greatest smile. What a drama queen.

My dad look at me with guilt but i stare at him with hate. He's not like this before. I knew this would be coming but i can't help to feel hurt.

-two days later-
"Well now she is totally fine." The doctor said. "She could be discharge now." He said. Then my dad sent us to the house and i packed my things and my mom is helpping me. I'm leaving to busan with my mom. Then there was a knock on my door. It's Jaebum. "Mrs. Kang." Jaebum greeted. My mom smiled. "I'll leave you two some space." She said and left the room

"What happen?" He was shock to see bandage on my neck. "Ask my dad i'm sure he would love to tell you." I said sarcasticly. "Haeyeon-ah." He called trying to hold my hand. "Don't touch  me, i don't want to get involve with Jisoo." I said and he look at me confusely. I continue packing my stuff. "Where are you going?" He ask. "I'm leaving to Busan." I said not looking at him. "When are you coming back?" He ask. "I'm going to live there, it's better not to live in this horrible place." I said. "So you're not coming back?" He ask with sadness in his voice. I nodded. "Well wish you all the best." He said.

He open his arm, and we hugged each other. His arm wrapped tight around me. I place my head on his chest. How i'm going to miss this. "Keep in touch." He said caressing my hair. I broke the hug and nod. I was about to move my luggage but a hand stop me. "Let me help." He said. So i let him.

We went down together and the cab is already outside. Jisoo was sending daggers stare to me but i could care much. I'm leaving it doesn't matter any more.

I sit into the cab when everything was settle. I didn't look back even a bit. I don't want to. It hurts me more than enough. I close my eyes to let the pain go away. A hand grabbed my hand warmly, "Everything will be fine." My mom say. "It will be." I said looking out the window since it has been a distance.
