Chapter 18

Haeyeon POV
"So, where do we start?" Baek ask. There is only three of us here in a room that fits more than 10 person. "We'll start with deciding characters, then we could focus on making the programme then design missions for the game." Jaebum said. Well yes, it a project on creating a new online game. "Music effect?" Baek ask. "I got that handled." Jaebum said and wink at me. What is he up to? "Alright let's get started." Baek said.

It's been forever in this room and my lovely brother and boyfriend was asking me to sit down and rest. Great, i'm hear to watch them. But little did i know, i fell asleep on the table. Then i felt a nudge, "Pricess, wake up." A soft voice called. I don't know how long have i sleep but it was actually good? I slowly open my eyes and look at him. "Let's eat lunch." He said. I sit up right, there is only both of us left. "Hyung have left." He said. I nodded. We then leave the room together.

"Miss. Kang i'll show you your office when the lunch break is over." Rachel said. "Alright, thanks." I said. When me and Jaebum left the building, he took my hand and intertwind with my fingers. My hand fits perfectly to his. "Where do you want to eat?" He ask while we're still walking to his car. "You can choose." I said honestly i don't know what to eat. "I'll bring you somewhere special." He said as he open the passanger's side door to let me in. "Alright." I said with a smile. He let go of my hand and walks to then diver side.

This whole journey was quite, i was admiring the way he drives. He stops the car and pull the brake. "I'm supposed the admiring is done, let's eat." He said. I blushed, so the whole time we was noticing it? I went off the car and Jaebum was fast enough to reach my side and hold me hand. We are standing in front of a restaurant, 'Junior's cuisine'. "There is someone i know you would like to meet." Jaebum said and pull me along to the restaurant. My heart is beating, who could it be?

"Hey bro!" Jaebum greeted once we're inside. "Noona!",  Those voice. It's them. "Haeyeonnie you are back!" Mark greeted me with a hug while my hand is still connected to Jaebum. "Yah hyung hands off." Jaebum broke the hug and show him our hand. I don't know what to say. "Finally hyung!" Yugyeom cheered. "Haeyeon it's been awhile." Jinyoung and hug me too. "Jinyoung-ah." Was all i muttered. "Haeyeon! Me!" Jackson was pointing at himself. Of course how could i forget this noisy boy. Youngjae and Bam bam was just sincerely smiling at me. "Let's eat, it's my treat." Jinyoung said and we walk to the table. "Jinyoung own this." Jaebum said. I look aroud, the design is unique, just like Jinyoung's preference. It was good to meet them once again.

After lunch with them, Jaebum send me back to the buildings. "Call me when you are done with work." He told me before i went off the car. "Alright, see you." I said. When i was about to open the car's door, he pull me back. I was looking at him cluelessly. "No goodbye kiss?"he ask, pointing at the side of his cheeks. I giggle a bit and lean in to kiss him on the cheeks but he turn his head and connect our lips. I was shock, when he let go of the kiss i was still in shock. "See you." He said and i quickly went off the car. I heard him giggled and i was as red as a tomato. I quickly went in the building.

"Are you alright Miss. Kang?" Rachel ask once she saw me. "Y-yeah." I shuttered. "Are you sure? Your face is red." She ensure. "Yeah, maybe the heat outside is causing this." I said avoiding further topics. She is still not convince anyways. "Anyway, this is your office and this is your secretary Bora. She will assist you in all the work you need guidence." Rachel said. "Hi, i'm Bora." My secretary greeted. Well she seems friendly. "Alright, i'll let Bora take over from here." Rachel said and i nodded. Then she walk away.

Suddenly in that moment Bora sigh in relieve. "What's with that?" I ask looking at her. "You don't know about her." Bora said and suddenly widen her eyes. Like she suddenly thought of who she is talking to. "I'm sorry Miss. Kang i didn't mean to be rude." She said and stood up and bow. I laugh at her bubbly action. She stood up and look at me confuse. "It's fine, let's not be formal when it's only two of us and after work." I said. She smile at me brightly. "Your different Miss. Kang." She said and pause for awhile. "Different than Miss. Jisoo." She said and look sad. "Anyway, let's show me my office and assist me." I said trying to lighten the mood. She lead me inside and start to assist me on all work.

After i don't know how many hours of work, finally i finish reading all the files. Thank you to Bora, that i could finish all my work in time. "Let me treat you a meal." I said to Bora. "That won't be necessary, it's my job to assist you." Bora said. "Come on, it's not for job, it's as a friend." I said. "Well i guess then it'll be fine." She said smiling. "What meal?" A voice suddenly appear behind Bora. I can't see since she is blocking me. Bora step aside and bow. "I'll leave first, let me know when will we eat together." She said and leave. "Alright." I said. "Jaebum could you knock the door next time and why are you here?" Questioning this tall men in front of me. "I'm sorry, should we go now? It's getting late." He said. "Alright,let me fix my things." I said and start to clear my things. Then we left the building together.

Jaebum POV
After sending my lovely girlfriend to her work place. I went back to my company. I was working while waiting for her call. Sad thing is she didn't call. I was expecting sher to call me and complain how much work she have to do but to my disappointment, non.

After how many hours have pass i look at my watch, it's already 5.00pm. She should be done by now. I switch off my computer and clear up all my files on the table then went to find Haeyeon.

I parked my car and went to her work place. When i walk in Rachel greeted me. "Mr. Im do you need me to inform Miss Kang that you are here?" She ask. "No need, thanks." I said and took the elevator to her office. I've been here few times before Haeyeon is back so it's not weird that i know where is the office.

When i open Haeyeon's door, a girl was standing in front of her. They didn't notice i was behind them. These girls.  "Let me treat you a meal." Haeyeon said to the girl. "That won't be necessary, it's my job to assist you." The girl answer. "Come on, it's not for job, it's as a friend." Haeyeon said. "Well i guess then it'll be fine." The girl reply. How long are they going to notice that i'm here? "What meal?" I ask to let them know i'm here. The girl step aside and bow. They seem shocked. Well my bad. "I'll leave first, let me know when will we eat together." The girl said and left. "Alright." Haeyeon said.

"Jaebum could you knock the door next time and why are you here?" Here she goes. I know this would come. "I'm sorry, should we go now? It's getting late." I said. "Alright,let me fix my things." She said and start to clear her things. Then we left the building together.

"My love are you free?" I ask looking at her before driving off. "Maybe why?" She said. "You know what-" i was about to say but i stop. I can't tell her now. I can't... i promised him not to tell her. "What?" She ask waiting for me to continue. "It's nothing let's go home." I said and drive off. She didn't question me after that but she was doze to dreamland.

When we arrive, i didn't wake her up. I carried her in bridal style to her bedroom. Thanks to her maid for helping me opening the door. I lay her down on her bed and put the blanket over her. I kissed her crown before i left.
