Chapter 16

Jisoo's POV
"It's okay honey." My mom comforted me but dad just kept quite. It's the fourth time i failed my bussiness cerfiticate. I don't know what's wrong. Without that cert i can't be a heiress of the Kang's Company. I don't want to disappoint my dad and i want to be the best but it didn't turn out my way. "If it's Haeyeon, she'll just pass this test just once." My dad mumble. I heard, all these years dad didn't forget Haeyeon. He'll get update on her if she is doing fine, if she is sick he'll be worried sick until she is heal. It's not that he didn't like me, he show his love but not as much as to Haeyeon. "I'll think about what to do." Dad sigh and walk out the work room.

"It's fine honey." Mom comforted me once again. Dad really want to hand over his company to heir, but i failed. I walk out of the work room back to my room. I'll work harder for that cert. For the mean time, i was preparing for the hangout with my friend. "Honey, when you are out pick some dress alright? We are meeting someone tomorrow." My mom said. "Alright. Bye mom." I said and went out.

Haeyeon POV
"Dear, tomorrow..." my mom said hesistated to say. "What is it aunt?" Baekhyun ask. Well we basically live together, since aunt JaeRa passed away early and he was adopted. Aunt JaeRa isn't married so she adopted a child. "We are meeting your father tomorrow." My mom said looking at me. I just look up at her from my food. I thought for a while, it's been few years it's going to be fine right? "Alright mom." I said. My mom was released when she hear this. "Baekie, you're coming too." Mom said. "Yes,madam!" Baek saluted and we continue to eat our food.

Haeyeon dad's POV
After long time of thinking, i decide to let Haeyeon take the heir. Anyway she is still my daughter. I gave Jisoo chance, since she seems like she is never going to make it, why don't i give it to someone who has the ability. Haeyeon's mom told me she got her bussiness master cert, now she is Baekhyun's assistance.

I invited Jaebum over, since in Jaebum's big project, my company has the biggest share, so he needs to know i had let my heiress take the place.

Haeyeon's POV
"It'll be fine, oppa will be here." Baek calm me before we went in the restaurant. I was very nervous. "Look at you two, what a cute siblings." My mom awed. "Let's go." My mom then said.

We walk in, everything was so elegant, fresh, simple but the most important expensive. "Long time no see." My mom greeted. Then you could see Jisoo and her mom rolled their eyes. "My daughter." My dad said. "Appa." I called and a big smile spread across his face. "Baekhyun my boy." My dad hugged baek. "Annyeong samchul." Baek greet. "Nice to see you here Mr. Byun." A familiar voice greeted. It's Jaebum. "Good to see you Mr. Im." Baek greets. Then my dad offer us to sit down.

I sat beside my mom which she is beside dad (left hand side) and baek beside me. Opposite me was Jisoo and beside her was Jaebum. I could feel Jaebum stealing glance at me during the lunch. My mom was chattering non stop with my dad.

"Well i gathered you all here for a reason." Dad annouced. "I'm here to declare my heir for the company." He said. Well Jisoo was fixing herself, where she was about to stand up. "Kang HaeYeon. My youngest daughter." Dad annouced. Jisoo was stunned, everybody was including me but mom was just smiling at me. "Wow." Baek said when he got to react. "Isn't it suppose to be me?!" Jisoo said. "Not here Jisoo." Dad said. "No objection." Jaebum said. "Alright, the agreement will be sign tomorrow together with the shareholders. As Jaebum was one of them." Dad said.

Jaebum just smile at me, while i was still in shock. "Dad, why me?" I ask when i reacted. "You are the best choice my dear." Dad said. Jisoo was grumbling in front of me. "Dad-" before i could say anything dad cut my sentence. "That's final." He said. When he say that he mean it. Everyone was quite, we continue eating.

After two years, meeting my father again, this was shocking. I'm the soon to be heiress. "Before you start taking over, you could learn how the company works." Dad said. "Alright." I said. Since its final i can't back off. After we all finish, we part our ways. "Haeyeon you are going to live with me." Dad said. Again. The horrible house. "We'll get her pack." My mom said. The whole ride back to busan i was clinging on baek since mom was driving. I wasn't ready to leave. "It's going to be fine baby." Baek said messing my hair. But i just remain quite.

-next day-
I stood in front of this horrible house. How am i going to survive. "Not going in?" Baek ask. "I'm not ready." I said. But he just went and knock the door. "My dear come in." My dad greet. With no choice, i walk in. It's still the same... horrible memories.

I packed my things and baek helped me before he left. "Mind if i come in." That voice. "Sure jaebum." I said. "It's nice to hear you calling my name." Said Jaebum.  "Well... since when u became such a flirtty man?" I ask. "When i'm around you." He said and pull me closer by my waist. Our face were inches away, we could kiss anytime. "Listen, from now on you are only mine, Im Jaebum's women." He said looking into my eyes. My heart beats once again for him.

"I love you Haeyeon." He said with our face inches away still. " Jaebum," i said but he shush me. "I can't lose you again." He said and lean in to kiss me. I didn't push him away but i was drown in the kiss. I kissed him back, i could feel the smirk of his. Until someone clear her throat at my corridoor.
