Chapter 23

Baekhyun POV
I was worried when i got the call from Haeyeon. She never called and cry before. Its making me worry sick. I can't sleep the whole night worrying about her. As soon as morning arrive, i drove to Seoul. I told aunt that i have work there and left. I can't tell her Haeyeon cried when calling. She'll freak out, i swear. When i was driving all thoughts was coming to my mind. What could happen?

When i arrive i quickly walk to the door and knock. I can't wait to see Haeyeon to find out what happen. But not long the so called Mrs. Kang opened the door. "I'm sure you're here for that brat inside." She said in annoyance while i just smile half hearted. Stupid women, you think i don't know what you did to this family? Then i heard crashing sound from inside. I push Mrs. Kang aside and run in where the sound comes from.

Haeyeon was throwing picture frames on the floor, all the glass shattered on the floor. "Honey, please stop." Samchul said begging her to stop. "It's all useless!" Haeyeon shouted. She continue to distroy all the picture frames. She broke down... she sits on the floor crying her heart out. Samchul was helpless. Even i, myself didn't know tears is falling from my eyes. What could have happen to brake this girl so much. She is screaming her heart out during the cry. I walked to her. She is my sister, i never see her like this. I kneeled before her and pull her into my embrace. "Oppa..." she cried, she knows i'm here. I scooped her up in bridal style and bring her to her room. I walk pass samchul i just gave him a weak smile.

I put her down sitting on her bed, she still cry. How long has she've been crying? She burried her face in my chest and sobbed. I didn't ask any question, just giving her the comfort she needed. I know its not time to ask question. I'll ask samchul later. She slowly fell asleep in my arms. I was caressing her hair to make her calm down. When she was asleep i gently make her lay down and pull the blanket over. I stood up and took one last look at her, i walk out the room.

I walk to the living room to look for samchul, my luck that he was there sitting on the sofa with pictures in his hand. The shattered glass and the broken frames are are all clean up. "Samchul." I called and walk to the sofa across him. "Baekhyun-ah." He said with his weary voice.

"I didn't want to break her." He said but i just kept quiet for him to continue.

"She is a wonderful gift from heaven that is sent to me and Jaeyeon." He said on edge of crying.

"But i didn't take good care of her. I broke her." He continue.

He is blaming himself. His not telling me why, why is Haeyeon in this state when i once again see her. I was full of question so i decide to ask.

"What happend?" I ask. It was quiet but i waited patiently for him to answer.

"We set an arrange marriage, she is marrying off to Jung and Jisoo arrange to the Im." He said. Arrange marriage?! The Im as in Im Jaebum? He is arrange to Jisoo?

"Haeyeon was against this..." he said. But i got no words to say.

"She reacted this way, it's because its Jisoo's plan. She was broken down when the news outburst." He said.

"So you put her through this?" I ask. Can't believe he just put Haeyeon through Jisoo's shit.

"I'm Jisoo's father, i owe her too much. She live her childhood without a dad. It's because of my careless-ness. I need to do my part for her." He said staring at the picture of him and Haeyeon.

"Doesn't mean you have to sacrifices Haeyeon happiness. You've broke this child twice. You broke her once. And now." I pointed out. He was quiet.

"The worst! You've brake her by pulling her apart with her love ones and putting her with the one she don't love. You're hurting her." I said.

"I know, i don't want to hurt her but i didn't want to disappoint Jisoo." He said as tears start to flow.

"Let her go." I said. Samchul stared at me.

"Let her off. If she is a wonderful gift, let her go don't let her suffer. She is for fuck sake a girl who needed some care and attention. She is handling more than you could think. She can't take all this. Let her go, samchul." I said. Maybe let Haeyeon leave this house is the best thing for now.

"I can't. I lose her once Baek. I finally brought her back, i can't let her leave." Samchul rejecting my suggestion.

"You need to let her free before she lose her respect on you." I said.

"Shit, what have i done?! Haeyeon, my daughter." Samchul cried.

"Samchul." I said pressing on what i said.

"Baek i can't, it hurts. The two years without Haeyeon and Jaeyeon just kills me. Now i only have Haeyeon." Samchul said.

"If that Shin haven't come, nothing will happen." Reminding him, that he welcome her back.

"If you didn't put Haeyeon through Jisoo's shit, Haeyeon may just bare with the pain in her heart and stay." I said reminding what he did. He was all quiet.

"Samchul... Haeyeon is a good daughter, she tried to understand your position. That two years, not even one day she is hating you. She know she hated what you did but she convince herself your a good father that loves her. She believe it but what you do now, i'm sure she don't know what to feel. Just let her go. " i said. Samchul just look at me.

"I want to leave this disgusting place." A girl voice appear. Haeyeon...

"Honey, please..." samchul begged but Haeyeon just walk back to her room.

"Let her leave for now." With no other choice, he accpeted.

I walk to see Haeyeon, she is already changed and packing. I helped her with her bags after she is done. When she was about to go the maid stopped her. She gave ice bag to Haeyeon, "I'm sure Miss Jaeyeon would not like to see your puffy eyes" she said. She is one of the maid who worked long time here. Haeyeon just nodded and thanks her and we left.

Jisoo POV
Yes! She left. My plan works. It really did. I was too happy that i ran to mom and tell her how happy i was. I didn't notice dad is still there until he cleared his throat and his stares just scares me.

"You! What an embaressment doing all these!" He shouted at me. I was shocked.

"You're such a waste! What else could you do other than setting people up!" He shouted again.

"Dad..." i called.

"Don't call me that! Don't even think of me talking to you this useless child. Not until my Haeyeon is back! The company will turn to your hand. If any projects gone down you better pray for yourself you get me?!" He said almost shouting.

I was horrified. He hated me that much? Can't i just want what i want?

"Enough Yonghae." My mom stopped him and hugged me knowing i'm hurt.

"Shin stay out of this, it was all wrong when i started a thing with you. This child shouldn't be here. I'm good enough to take her in. See what happen now?! I lose Jaeyeon and my daughter Haeyeon! I broke Haeyeon just to grant this unfaithful child!" He shouted.

"Jisoo is your child too Yonghae!" Mom shouted.

But dad ignore and  walk to his working room and slam the door. Me and mom just stood there. What i did was all wrong? It's my life i want to live it my own way.

"Honey, it's okay. We've acheive what we want." My mom comfort me.

I'll make the Kang's company more powerful. Kang Haeyeon you wait and see. See whose the winner till the end.
