"It's spring break next week." Mia says from across the table.

We're currently sitting in the cafeteria of campus, catching up. Matt said that I needed to enjoy life more -seriously it's like his mantra or something- and that it was good for me to spend time with my friends.

Hello? I knew that already. I think what he was basically trying to say was that I was clingy. See, maybe I was. But he had to understand that he was my first boyfriend, so what if I wanted to spend all my time with him?

I was kinda mad at him.

However, I understood his point of view and I knew he wanted to spend more time with his friends too, so I texted Mia and Stella and we decided to have a much needed reunion.

"I know." I answered her while I munched on my chips.

"Do you guys have any plans?" Stella asks. She was constantly checking her phone because she was waiting for her fling of the month to text her back.

"I don't." I answered distractedly, also checking my phone. Not that I was waiting for a text from Matt or anything. Not at all.

"We should all do something together! All of us!" Mia suddenly exclaims.

"Like what?"

"Like, I don't know, a trip somewhere?"

"A road trip!" Stella says enthusiastically. "We could go down to New York!"

New York was relatively close to our town, only a few hours away by car. And even though it was so close, I had never been down there. When I was a sophomore in high school, my history class had organized a field trip to go down to NYC, but I didn't go. If I had gone, I would've missed Jake's birthday and I didn't want to because he was throwing a massive party with all his friends and I had a crush on one of his friends, so I gave up the trip.

No need to say that my parents didn't let me attend the party and I ended up not going anywhere. I gave up a great trip for a party I never attended. Yay me.

But, back to the conversation, I kind of liked the idea. I thought it would be good to get away for a few days with my friends and 'enjoy life'.

"-but yeah we should totally go! It would be you, me, Nora, Matt and we could even invite Aubrey and her boyfriend! And some of Matt's friends if they want!"

"Wait, wait, wait. Matt and his friends? And Levi?" I asked stupefied.

"Well yes... He is your boyfriend. And Aubrey's boyfriend too, it could be fun!" Stella tells me.

"But what about your spring fling?" I asked her.

"Oh he's included in the Matt's friends group." Mia assured me while looking at Stella as she blushed.

"Oh my God, you little minx! You didn't tell me! I'm so going to ask Matt about this."

"No!"

"Watch me!" I said sticking my tongue out at her.
