N O R A
Our amazing trip was sadly coming to an end.
Today was our last day and this morning, the girls and I had decided to do a little bit of shopping while the guys planned out what we were going to do tonight. We were saying goodbye to the city that never slept and we had to do it properly.
While Mia and Stella went mostly on their own way, Aubrey grabbed me the arm and dragged me all the way to Barney's. Why did she force me to even enter the shop when we weren't going to buy anything to begin with? She said it was a crime to come to New York and not visit Barney's. As if it was a tourist attraction.
Although, it probably was.
When we were finished ogling at amazing designs that we wouldn't be able to pay in a hundred lives, the four of us met up at a regular mall where the real shopping began.
We stopped for lunch at a random McDonalds that we found along the way and met the guys afterwards. They told us all about their bonding time and about some really good music shops that they'd found along the way.
Truth was, it was kind of boring to listen to them telling us about all their guy stuff. Thankfully, Matt knew me pretty well and could read my face, grabbing my hand and saying that we had business to attend and we'd see them later.
He said he's planned an afternoon date for us and hell yeah he had. His brilliant idea was to rent a horse carriage to take us all around Central Park.
Okay, I had to admit that was kind of romantic and I was sort of swooning the whole ride.
After the ride, which took a good two hours, we decided to head to Times Square and just walk around aimlessly, enjoying the tourist-y atmosphere and the lights and the noise.
People were running around everywhere while we just strolled, hand in hand, fingers intertwined. This was honestly as good as it got.
After all that walking around we decided to stop at some cute café and have a coffee.
"You having fun?"
"I'm actually having the time of my life." I answered honestly, taking a sip of my coffee.
"I'm glad." Matt grinned at me. "Told you, it was easy to let go and have some fun from time to time."
I nodded my head at him and looked around. Who would have told me a few months ago that after all this time I'd be in such an amazing place, surrounded by amazing people -friends- who I loved? It was surreal.
Suddenly, it hit me. Why all these good things were happening to me. It was thanks to the handsome, deliciously hot guy that was sitting in front of me right now looking at me as if I held the moon and the sun.
"Thank you." I said to him sincerely.
Matt blinked confusedly at me and said "Why?"
I shrugged my shoulders "For everything."
