"They're so cute! I wonder where they came from..."
"Yeah, they've got an accent. I like it."
"And they look like bad boys, too! I've always had a soft spot *sigh*."
Teru snickered to herself from where she walked backwards in front of him, arms behind her head and looking at Akemi with a smug look as he sighed, hopeless. He should have known this was her plan.
"Can I not have one normal school experience?" he muttered to her. "Just one. That's all I ask for. I don't want to be a genius, I don't want to be popular, I just want to be that one kid in the background. That's all I ask." Her smirk grew wider as the swooning grew.
"The more you talk, the more you're attracting them. But if you don't talk, I suppose you'll end up like that guy, 'Kemi." She pointed her thumb at a tall, black haired guy in the background. "I guess the only way is to make you unattractive." She moved back to his side, pushing him down as she forcefully messed up his hair. When he got back up, he growled.
"Teru."
She jumped, her arms now in front of her protectively. "Ahahah, you know we're in school, right, Akemi?"
"Yes. And I'll give you ten seconds to run." She zoomed off as he started counting. "One... Two... Ten."
She raced behind an upperclassmen-who we'll now call Tamaki Suoh-squealing. "Save me, senpai! He's crazy!" she wailed, pointing at Akira. Tamaki blinked, surprised, before putting his arms out.
"I won't let you touch him!" he said as Akira ran up, stopping slowly, just as confused as Tamaki had been.
"But-But he's my twin! It's not like I'll actually do anything but hit him over the head!" he defended, hand pointing in her direction. She started chuckling nervously.
"Akira, you know you don't want to do this... Ahahaha... Just let me go and we'll call it a day..." She let go of Tamaki's arm, slowly backing away and patting the air. Akira got ready to run again.
"Hold on now," another upperclassman said, walking up to Tamaki's side. We'll call him Kyoya Ootori. "You must be the new transfers from Massachusetts, USA. Kita Teru and Akira, right?"
A lightbulb clicked on. "Oh yeah, I remember you now. From when I gave you a tour of the school. Your dad's pretty good friends with mine." Teru walked up to her twin, smiling and putting her hands on her hips.
"Yup. Actually, I have a question for you. I know about your host club-"
She was cut off by Tamaki. "Oh good! It's a work of art and-"
"We'd like to join," she said. Akira looked at her with an odd look.
"You'd like to join. I want no part in this." Before he could walk away, though, she caught him by the waist.
"You could use a bad boy and a shy one. And we're twins, which is even better."
