Silver Linings

After talking to Mr. Park, I walk back to class and meet Jax on the way to our free period, basically begging for my forgiveness Jax apologizes, and I laugh saying, "It's my fault for keeping my illness a secret." Jax smiles, and we walk to the quad in almost happy spirits, and honestly I don't know how I could go from furious and sad to happy and silly in a matter of minutes, but I am not complaining. During the period, I got a call from Alya, so I immediately answered it and walked away from Jax a little. "Hi Miles, I am sorry I left you in the hospital, but my musical was going on tour and they brought me along," I simply reply, "it's fine, you didn't miss much." I don't know why, but i sensed something was off about her, "How is everything on the road, really?" She paused a second and said, "It is great but kind of boring, I just wish I felt like I belonged you know?" I paused, "Yea I know what you mean, but I am sure it will get better, and you should visit soon Keaton misses you." "I think I may have time for a lightning visit tomorrow, I mean the tour does not really start for another week." I smile and than I say, "Looking forward to it, anyway I gotta go bye." "Bye," she says quietly, and for a second she sounds just like the old Alya. 

*The thought of visiting Keaton makes me so excited, but I can't let Miles or anyone here see how miserable I am on tour. I mean I worked my butt off for this, and hard work pays off, I just wish I felt like I belonged on tour as much as I felt like I belonged at Keaton...with Miles. Did I just say that, oh no* ~Alya

*Honestly, I am so pumped to see Alya, I hope the tour has not changed her though, I miss the old Alya so much, the one who was my best friend, the one I made music with, the one I...liked, I mean nothing*~Miles

I walk back towards Jax and see him looking up at me, a little but worried, "Is everything ok?" Jax asks. "Yea great, that was just Alya calling from tour." Looking up at me even more interested, "Alya" he says in a jokey voice, "Don't you kinda have a thing for her?" he asks. I laugh no, than I punch him in the arm. "I knew it" he says excited. I just roll my eyes at him, I know he means the best, and his goofiness is kinda funny. As free period is almost over, I begin packing up my books and say, I left something in one of the classrooms in the other side of the school, I will catch up with you before next period.

*I know Miles has a crush on Alya, and honestly, I ship them. I mean, Miles does not understand ladies, so of course, leave it to me, I have to get these two lovebirds together somehow, so many options, better start planning* ~Jax
