Falling Into You

Chapter 10

"Céline are you ready?"
"Yes, one minute"
I put on my shoes and grabbed my purse. I looked in the mirror one last time and made sure I looked okay. I walked downstairs and over to Alex.
"You look great, I can't wait until you come tomorrow. My family is going to be thrilled when they find out!"
"I'm looking forward to it"
"Great. Well we better get you to the meeting. Do you have everything you need packed?"
"Yes"
"How many pairs of shoes did you pack?"
"I don't know a few"
"Why do you always pack so many shoes?"
"Because I never know what we could be doing I need a pair of shoes for every event"
"We're staying one night I don't think you need a lot of shoes"
"Hey it makes me happy"
"Well as long as your happy... Alright I'll bring your bag with me, do you need anything from it?"
"Nope I'm good, I have everything I need here"
"Okay let's go"

We got to the studio and walked in.
"Do you have a ride home?"
"Yes, Lisa said she'll meet me here"
"Ok just checking"
"Thanks for bringing me. I'll see you tomorrow"
"Alright see you tomorrow, bye" he kissed me and started to walk out the door. "Bye everybody" he waved as he walked out.
"Alright so let's figure out a release date shall we?" Tony said
We all went and sat down.
"Okay so when is your ideal release date Céline"
"Well I was thinking sometime in November, ideally towards the end of November"
"Okay that's a good idea. But don't we want to bring it out as soon as possible?"
"Well yes but not too soon, it's October now, we can release it in October, but not to early"
"Yes I agree, we want to release it so that the fans can get a hold of it. But we don't want to release it to early, it's a Christmas album, we don't want to be releasing it to early in the Halloween season" Rene said
"Exactly that's why I was think more November, November is the month before Christmas, so it seems most fitting" I say
"Okay, I see what you're saying. We only have one more song to do and then we're done. We have the album cover made, all other songs are edited and ready. So all we need is this song. We can release it after the song is ready?" Tony says
"When will that be?"
"I'm not sure, all the songs are ready except that one. So all we will have to do is record that one, fix whatever needs to be fixed and put together the track list. It shouldn't take to long. I'm think maybe end of October or beginning of November?"
"Okay that seems like it could work. When are we recording the last song?"
"Well if you're not doing anything today we could record it?"
"Yeah sounds good to me. What song is it?"
"O come all ye faithful"
"Okay, sounds good. Let's record it"
"Okay so when that recorded, I'm thinking we will release it sometime at the end of October or early November for sure. Is that alright?"
"Sounds good to me, let's record!"

I got up from my seat and we got the lyrics for the song. We set up everything, and then I went into the recording booth. I started to sing.
"O come, all ye faithful,
Joyful and triumphant,

Born the King of Angels"

I finished the song and came out of the booth.
"That was beautiful as usual"
"Thank you Tony"
"Well, that's all we needed. Now we just need to put the track list together and put the songs on the album and then we are done!"
"Great!"
"Any particular order?"
"Not really. I do want O Holy Night to be the first song on the album though, I think it will be a nice opening. Other than that I don't mind what order the songs are in"
"Perfect, so we'll have O Holy Night first, what song do you want to be the last?"
"Um, what about Les Cloches Du Hameau?"
"Sounds good to me. So O Holy Night First, Les Cloches Du Hameau last, right?"
"Yes"
"Great. Well I'll call you sometime with the rest of the details. We can have another team meeting sometime before the release date"
"Sounds good to me. Thank you so much"
"Of course. The album is going to be fantastic!"
"I hope so!"
"I know so. Just like all of your other albums" Rene said
"You are all too sweet"
"Well I should probably get going, it's almost 5:00"
"Oh yes I should to!" I said after Rene
"Alright see you both later!"
"Alright bye Tony" Rene said with a wave.
"Bye everybody, thank you so much for all your help and support with the album, I appreciate it! Have a good night" I walked out the door with Rene.
Me and Rene had to be careful, if someone saw me get into his car and told Alex, Alex would get so mad. We got into the car and drove out of the parking lot.
"Well that was a successful meeting. Everything done, kind of. Everything almost done"
"Yeah I know it all happened so fast"
"Tell me about, I didn't plan on recording today. I'm not mad about it though, cause now everything is done"
"That's the good thing about it, now you don't have to stress about recording anymore songs"
"Yeah I know, but I'm going to miss recording"
"Well I have some good news for you then"
"What is it!"
"I'll tell you when we get home"
"Why can't you tell me now?"
"Because I want to make you wait"
"I want to know now though!"
"Exactly, that's why I'm gonna make you wait"
"If I guess it will you tell me if I'm right?"
"Probably not, but you can still guess"
"Okay, am I nominated for something?"
"No... Not yet anyway"
"Am singing a song for a movie?"
"No"
"Am I going to a red carpet event of some sort?"
"Nope"
"Well what is it?"
"I'll tell you when we get home"
"Why can't you tell me now?"
"Cause it's fun to make you wait" I'm glad he thinks this is funny. I just want to know what's going on.
