"And then he left" I say as I finish telling Elise what just happened with Alex. "Oh honey I'm so sorry" she says pulling me into a hug "are you okay?" "I guess so" I say sniffling "No you're not. Don't hide how you're feeling tell me the truth" "I- I don't know what to do Elise" I say as I break down in tears. "What do you mean?" She asks as she puts her hand on my back trying to calm me down. "It's just-" I huff frustrated, and trying to calm down my uncontrollable crying. "He's never EVER touched me in a mean way before. He's never hurt me physically. It was scary. I didn't know what he was gonna do. It was awful" "Céline I'm so sorry you don't deserve that" she says as she gives me a hug. "Wanna go get ice cream or something before soundcheck" she smiles "That'd be great" I say * Soundcheck I walk into the building and onto stage. I want to get today over with. "My heart will go on?" I ask the bad and they start playing. Soundcheck finishes and I see Rene walk onto the stage. I get a little excited when I see him, but I also don't want him to see the mark on my arms from Alex. He walks over to me. "Hey how did things go with Alex?" He asks me "Um, good" he gives me a weird look "Don't lie to me. I've known you long enough. I can tell when you're lying to me. Now what happened" "He- he uh hurt me" "What?!" He says sounding mad "Come with me" I say as I take his hand and bring him with me. We stop around the corner and I pull down my sleeve to show him the bruise he left on my arm. "Céline oh my gosh. Did he hurt you anywhere else" "No after that he left. I don't know where he is" "Are you going to be okay?" "I think so" I smile at him "Come on let's go back to the stage" I sit down on a stool and talk with Rene some more. Elise walks over with Barnev and talks with us. "You know as great as you are Céline I got to say Tony's impression of you is pretty good. I'd make sure you're here on time or he might to the concert for you" we all laugh remembering Tony in a wig. I jokingly hit Rene's arm and touch his hand.

Then I see Alex walk onstage looking straight at me. "Alex!" I say as I run over to him. I pull him into a hug and he lightly places his arms around me. "I was worried I thought you left.!i didn't think you were going to come" I say almost crying, remembering everything that happened this morning, how after all that happened here I am falling for his charm again. "I'm so sorry about this morning. I can back to make sure you're okay. Clearly you are" he says a little annoyed as he looks towards Rene. "Don't! Don't do this, not again" I say turning his face to me instead. "Sorry" "Come here" I say as I pull him in and kiss him. "I'm so sorry about this morning. I hate what I did. I love you baby" he says, his words cutting me like a knife. "I- I love you too" I say not really believe myself. * After the concert I go back to my dressing room, someone knocks on my door. "Who is it?" "Alex" "Oh. Come in" he walks in and smiles a little at me. "Great show tonight" he says as he kisses my cheek. "Thank you" "Hey do you mind if I go out for a bit?" "Where?" "Just to get a drink or something with Tony" "Uh yeah that's fine. Have fun" I say with a smile "See you in the morning" he says as he closes the door. Soon there's another knock on the door. "It's open" I say and Rene walks in. "Oh hey!" "Céline..." he looks at me sternly. "What?" "How many times are you going to let him hurt you?" "What are you talking about?" "I've seen you cry over him so many times, it kills me to see you so upset. And now he really hurts you and you just go and kiss him as if nothing happened between you two?" "Look I don't want to talk about this" "Céline, I just want to make sure you're okay" "I appreciate it Rene. I do. And I am okay. I promise I won't let him hurt me again" "Okay" he says unsure of my promise. I hug him and kiss his cheek. "If he does I'm out of there" "Promise?" "I promise" * I don't really like this chapter, it took me so long to write because I didn't know what to write. I have a lot planned for the story and it's all kind of developing after this chapter, so stay tuned for that. 💕
