Falling Into You

Chapter 34

I feel a tap on my shoulder and turn around, shocked at what I see.
Rene
On one knee
With a ring box in his hands and the biggest smile on his face.
"Céline" he says as he takes his hand in mine "I've loved you for so long and I'm happier than I've ever been now that we're together. You're the woman of my dreams... Now I know it's early but I also know I've been waiting my whole life for someone like you and I don't want to wait anymore. I want to start our lives together. Céline, I love you. Will you marry me?"
"Of course I will" I say with a smile as tears of joy sting my eyes. He smiles as he places the ring on my finger. "I love you so much" I say as I hug him.
"I love you more"
"Not possible" I smile and kiss him. The band starts to play a song I recognize, Tell Him. The song I sang to Rene during a soundcheck before we were together.
"It's our song" I smile at him.
"Sha'll we?" Rene says as he takes my hand leading us to middle of the floor. He holds me so close as we dance. I sing quietly, so quiet only he can hear. He smiles as I sing the song.
Everything about tonight has been so beyond perfect.

After the song is over Rene takes my hand and leads me inside. Carol smiles as she sees us walk in.
"So" she says with a big smile on her face "How was it?"
"It was great" Rene says as he places his hand on my waist.
"Did you say yes?" She asks me. I smile at her before showing her the ring.
"I did!"
"Wow! It's beautiful! Congratulations you two"
"Thank you" I smile at her
"You've got yourself a good one here Céline" She says as she looks at Rene.
"Yeah I do" I say smiling at him.
"Well, here are your room keys, room 15 is all yours. Enjoy your stay" we smile and thank her before walking upstairs to our room.
"Well this is it" Rene says as he he gestures to the door. He unlocks the door and we walk in.
The first thing I notice is that someone has put Rose petals on the bed, and complimentary champagne.
"Did you do this?" I ask with a smile
"I actually didn't. Carol must've have set it up while we were outside"
"I guess it's a good thing I said yes huh?" I say making Rene laugh. He doesn't say anything he just kisses me.
"I'm glad you did" he says as he holds me close to him.
"Me too" I smile at him.
"I love you Céline"
"I love you too"

Alright this chapter took me so long to write, like I'm talking days. I just didn't know what to write, or how to make it interesting after they got engaged. So that's why it's really short. Sorry about that. Next chapter I'm going to try and make better, cause this chapter isn't very good (in my opinion lol)
