At soundcheck "Oooooo lets talk about love, let's talk about us, let's talk about life, let's talk about trust" I finish singing the song and turn to the band. "Let's do Declaration Of Love!" The bad nods and start playing the song. This song is always so fun to do. I dance around on the stage, and try and sound like some of the instruments in the band. I decide to sing Tell Him next. I'm a little tired out from all the dancing I just did so I sit down on the edge of the stage. Rene is sitting in the front row. I smile at him as the song starts. "I'm scared, so afraid to show I care Will he think me weak if I tremble when I speak? Ooh, what if there's another one he's thinking of? Maybe he's in love, I'd feel like a fool Life can be so cruel, I don't know what to do" As I get to the chorus my eyes meet Rene's. "Tell him, tell him that the sun and moon rise in his eyes Reach out to him And whisper tender words so soft and sweet I'll hold him close to feel his heart beat Love will be the gift you give yourself" Rene smiles as I sing the song. I never realized how much this song reminded me of him until now. After I finish the song I give him a shy smile and stand up. We finish the rest of the set list and then we start to get ready for the actually concert. As I'm about to go to my dressing room I see Rene and I run over to him. "So how was my instrument impressions?" "Amazing I couldn't tell what was the real guitar and what was you" we both laugh "Thanks for coming, I hope it wasn't too boring" "No it wasn't at all. Nothing is ever boring with you Céline" "I try" we laugh again "Alrigjt well I better start getting ready, the soundcheck ran a little later than we planned. But you'll be here right?" "Yeah I'm going to stick around back here until the show starts-" "You're not leaving are you?!" "No no I'm staying" he laughs "What I was going to say is I'm going to stick around back here until the show starts and then I'm going to get my seat so I can watch the show" "Oh okay good, sorry for cutting you off" I laugh "It's all good, now go get ready you got a big show soon" I nod and run to my dressing room. I'm wearing black pants and a black shirt, with a silver jacket. I love it. The hairdresser is doing my hair while I'm doing my makeup. After I'm ready I go to find Tony. I walk around backstage but I can't find him. "Rene have you seen Tony?" "Yeah he's on the stage" I walk onto the stage and see Tony in a wig holding a microphone. He sees me and starts singing My Heart Will Go On. He hums a little bit and then pounds on his chest. "Thank you! Goodnight!" he yells trying to do a french accent. I start laughing so does everyone else. "How was I?" "Amazing! You know if I'm sick and can't do the show you can fill in for me" "If be honoured" we laugh some more. "By the way I was wondering if you saw Alex?" "Yeah he's here he just went to the bathroom he should be right back" "Good he came" "You didn't think he would?" "I don't know, I knew he wouldn't let me down but I was just scared he would fall asleep or something a miss it" "Well he's here he made sure to get here early to make sure he could see you" Alex walks onto the stage, and he runs over to me. "I made it!" "I know I'm glad!" He gives me a hug "You just missed Tony's impersonation of me. It was great" "I missed it. Oh gosh I can only imagine" "Well you're in luck I was thinking about performing another song for all of you" Tony's says. He fixes his wig and starts to sing It's All Coming Back To Me Now. He sings the chorus and then tries to make piano sounds. We all laugh, he gets down on his knees and sings the end of the song in a whisper. "If you forgive me all this, If I forgive you all that. We forgive and forget and it's all coming back to me... Now" he stands up and hits his chest. We all laugh and cheer for him. "Wow Tony that was great, you know for a second I actually thought you were Céline" Alex says sarcastically and we laugh "We already discussed that if I'm ever sick Tony's filling in for me" "I think that's a good idea, why cancel the show when Tony can fill in" "Exactly" "Well we should probably go off stage people should start coming in very soon" Tony says and we all walk off stage. * "Are you all having a good time tonight?" I tell to the audience. They cheer. "This next song is a very special one because I sang it with one of my favourite people, Barbra Streisand" the crowd cheers as they realize what song it is. "So without further ado, here we go" the band starts playing the song. "Do you mind if I sit down" I sit on the edge of the stage like I did during soundcheck. As I sing the song I look out into the audience, people are singing along, some are crying, couples are holding each other. I see Rene sitting in his normal seat. He's sitting with Alex and some of the crew. I smile at them hoping they know I'm looking at them. The audience is singing along. As I'm singing the chorus I can't help but look at Rene. From now on every time I sing this song, I'll think of him. And I wouldn't want it any other way... Authors Note Sorry I haven't updated in a while. I promise I'll try to update more often.
