Chapter 27

I open my eyes and turn my head. I smile when I see Rene laying beside me. I lean over and kiss his cheek. He slowly opens his eyes.
"Good morning" I say and he smiles
"Morning"
I lay my head on his chest and move closer to him.
"Céline?"
"Yeah?"
"How are you feeling? You know, after everything that happened yesterday"
"I'm good, especially now" I smile at him
"I just don't want you to regret anything"
"Hey, look at me" I say and he turns his head "I don't regret this" he smiles and kisses me.
"Mm I don't want to go anywhere today" I say as I snuggle closer to him.
"Me either" he says running his fingers through my hair.
"What time I soundcheck today?"
"Uh 2:30"
"Well as much as I hate to say it we should probably get ready then. It's 1:42"
"You're right" he says as he sits up. I pull the sheet around me as I stand up looking around the room.
"Uh Rene?"
"Yeah?"
"Where are my clothes?" I say laughing
"Uh one minute" he laughs as he looks for them. "Here they are" he says passing them to me.
"Thanks" I get dressed and then walk over to Rene. "You ready?" I say as I put my arms around him.
"Yes" he places his hands on my cheeks and kisses me "I got to say, it feels great to know I can kiss you whenever I want to now" I smile as he kisses me again.
"I agree"

At the concert
"Chicago! You've been a great audience these past two nights! I love you goodnight!" I say as I walk off stage, the crowd cheers.
I notice Rene standing to the side of the stage. I run into his arms, he picks me up, hugging me tight. "Amazing show tonight!" He kisses my cheek.
"Thank you" I kiss him, a long kiss. It feels like a huge relief to finally be able to be with him.
"Stay with me tonight?" He asks
"Gladly" I kiss him again and we start to walk out the door. We get into the limo and drive to the hotel.

He takes my hand in his as we walk to his hotel room.
"I'm gonna go to my room and grab some clothes, I'll be there in a minute" I kiss his cheek and open the door to my room.
As soon as I walk in I see Alex sitting on the couch.
"Alex... I thought you left"
"Céline I couldn't go yet" he says walking over to me.
"Why not?" I say a little annoyed that he's still here.
"Because I love you"
