Bay's POV

My house was about 20 minutes away from Alissa's, so I dozed off after telling Luke the address. I woke up when he picked me up out of the car.

"Easy does it. C'mon, it's ok, I've gotcha." He said calmly as he carried me to the front door. I felt him shaking, or at least I thought it was him.

"Why are you shaking?" I asked as he gently put me down to unlock the door.

"I'm not." He said with a concerned look on his face. "You are." I looked down at my hands as I fumbled with the keys. My eyes stung and there was a ringing in my ears. I dropped the keys for a fourth time. Luke bent down and got them.

"Come here. Please stop crying." He wrapped his arm around me and unlocked the door. He brought his hand to my face and wiped away a tear, I didn't know had gotten out. 'Get it together Bay.' I practically yelled to myself.

"My mom's away with her boytoy and Ashton's at a party with Michael. So you can...uh..." I trailed off as I walked through the living room to the kitchen.

"Yeah I'm definitely not going to leave you here." He said from the living room. "When Calum said you and Alissa weren't exactly poorest people, I didn't realize it was like this." He looked around the living room, mouth wide open.

"Um yeah. Our houses are almost identical. I can give you a tour if you want. The only differences are the what's in the rooms." I handed him a Coke and started towards the basement. It's quite large with two couches taking up one wall. Two TVs sat, parallel to each of the couches with my DVD player hooked up to one, Ashton's Xbox hooked up to the other.

"So, this is the basement. That half is my brother's side and this is mine." I pointed to the corresponding sections. We headed back upstairs. "I'll show you the rest later. I'm gonna go change." I ran up another flight of stairs to my room. I threw on my red flannel pants and my raggedy blue hoodie. I searched all over my room before I found my pink and black striped fuzzy socks. I came out of my room and went into Ashton's to grab Luke some clothes. I came out with a black Nirvana shirt and some loose sweatpants. As I walked down the stairs, I put my hair in a loose ponytail.

"I hope you don't mind, I found the remote and couldn't sit in silence." He said, sitting on the couch, the TV playing Andy Griffith.

"Only if you don't mind that I brought you some clothes. After all, you are staying right?" I threw the clothes at him. He smiled and stood up. I pointed down one of the many hallways and to the left. I bent down in front of the movie case, scanning for something to watch.

"Do you wanna watch a horror movie?" I yelled with Paranormal Activity in one hand and Saw 5 in the other.

"Yeah that sounds fine." He said as he jumped over the back of the couch and sat down. I got up and sat down next to him, so close I was practically on top of him.

"Okay, which one? Gore or Ghosts?" I asked, holding the movies in front of my face.

"Gore. All the way." He smiled a sneaky little grin.

"Ok, you put in the movie and I'll fix the popcorn." I smiled, jumped up and walked to the kitchen. I found the popcorn and waited for the microwave to beep when I felt a sharp pain in my side. 'Not now,' I thought. I fumbled around looking for some Tylenol or something to ease the pain. The microwave beeped as I swallowed two Advil. I put the popcorn in a bowl and walked back to the living room. I sat down next to Luke, as close as we were before, and pulled on a blanket.

By the end of the movie, my head was buried in Luke's chest and he was laughing at me.

"It's just a little blood Bay." He teased, moving my bangs out of my face. I shook my head and made the bangs fall back, hiding myself.

"Why don't we watch Love Actually?" He asked, still laughing at me.

"Ok, but I'm not moving until that movie is out of the DVD player." I said as he got up to change it.

"Okay, okay, it's out. You can open your eyes now." He said as he pulled the blanket off me.

"Hey!" I yelled playfully. He held the blanket above his head.

"What's wrong Bay? Can't reach it?" He laughed at me while I tried my hardest to get it back. I jumped and almost fell.

"Woah there." He said as he grabbed me and laced his arms around my waist. I looked into his eyes and held his face in my hands. His eyes shifted to my lips as he wrapped his arms tighter and tighter around my waist. His lips touched mine so lightly, I thought I imagined it. Then we kissed again, harder and more passionately. Before I knew what was happening, we were making out on the couch. There was a thud from downstairs and I jumped.

"You're too cute." He laughed and kissed my head.

"I know. Now go see what it is." I smiled and pointed to the basement. He headed downstairs and I followed close behind. It was pitch black and suddenly he wasn't in front of me anymore.

"Luke?" I asked to the nothingness. "Luke? This isn't funny." I started to feel terror fill my body. 'He knew how to get in. He's always known the back window is unlocked' I thought to myself. 'What if he did something to Luke?' I couldn't take it anymore. I flipped on the switch and waited for his fists to pound my body. I covered my face, knowing of he saw how I scared I was it would only be worse. He had beaten me, Stephen McClay had beaten me and now he was back to finish the job. To make sure that this time, I won't survive.
