"You decent or should I come back later?" I laughed from behind Alissa's bedroom door. Calum had just left in a haste and he didn't look very happy.
"Just get in here, Bay." Her voice sounded muffled, like her head was in her hands. I hesitated, not wanting to walk in and see her, my best friend, my other half, breaking down because of him. I'd have to kill him. I walked in and it was exactly how I thought it would be. She was laying on her back, her hands over her face. I walked over to her and layed beside her, putting my hands over my face as well.
"So is this a new kind of game, or what? Doesn't this make your face hot?" I peeked through the gap between my fingers, waiting for Alissa to acknowledge my existence, with no prevail. "I mean hotter than it already is, of course." I kept peeking, waiting.
"I'm sure yours is hot, since you never stop talking." She laughed into her hands. I jumped up and walked over to her IPod dock and her IPod, scrolling through her array of music. I stopped on my all-time favorite act-like-an-idiot-to-cheer-your-friend-up song, Dance With Me Tonight by Olly Murs.
"C'mon, Alissa! Dance with me! You know you want to." I walked over to Alissa, pulling her hands from her face and forcing her up.
"Bayyyyyy." She whined, being very reluctant to any kind of movement. I was very good at knowing exactly how to cheer her up so, I grabbed my cell phone and called Luke.
"Hey, babe, what's up? You ok?" Luke said, sounding worried.
"Awe, babe, you're adorable and yes I'm fine, just wondering if my amazing protector could do me a huge favor?" I pleaded with him, knowing he would do anything I asked now.
"You're biting your lip, aren't you? What is it, how long is it going to take, and where is my beautiful girl?"
"You know me so well! I need two blue raspberry slushies, four kitkats, a razzleberry tea, and a mini pizza. My wallet should be in your console. Thank you so much babe! I'm at Alissa's." I giggled at the thought that he knew that I was biting my lip.
"You owe me, babe. I'll be there in 20." He laughed, hanging up quickly. I turned back to Alissa, smiling a big cheesy smile.
"You know me too well." She laughed, running out of her door and down her stairs. I followed her and jumped over the back of her couch, plopping down next to her as she flipped through the channels. We finally settled on a documentary called Blackfish. In a little over 20 minutes, there was a light knock on her front door.
"Food, food, food, food!" I chanted, as I made my way to the door. I swung it open, expecting to see Luke standing there, holding everything I asked for, but instead I opened the door to a drunk Calum.
"He-Hey Bay, is Al-Alissa here?" He stumbled a little and slurred his words. He started to fall, so I put my arm under him, holding him up. I yelled for Alissa, and heard her stumble off the couch, rushing to grap Calum. She took him from me and lead him into the livingroom. I heard them talking but didn't want to be rude, so I stayed back. I leaned against the door, wondering how he got here and how much he had. I heard a car come up the drive and snapped out of my trance. Luke got out of his car and was struggling with all the food I had asked for.
"Hey, I'll take some of that." I said, grabbing some of the food. I headed inside the door and straight to the kitchen, not wanting to disturb Alissa and Calum.
"Is Calum here? I thought I saw his car outside." Luke asked, setting the food down on the table.
"Yea, he stumbled in and asked for Alissa." I looked at Luke, wondering if he would get the hint about the "stumbling in" part. His eyes got big, as he glanced over his shoulder. He looked back at me and walked around to my side of the counter. "You still owe me, Evans." Luke mumbled as he laced his arms around my waist. He leaned in to kiss me, but I pulled away, playing with him.
"Do I know? When was that arranged?" I laughed as he buried his head into my neck, leaving light kisses on my jawline. I slipped out of his grasp and walked around the counter.
"Bay, I'm going to catch you and then I'm going to get what I want." He winked, slowly moving towards me. He started to move faster as he got closer so I ran to the other side. We played this game for well over 10 minutes before he finally caught me. He kissed me, lightly at first but the kiss got very hot, very quickly. He grabbed my waist and lifted me on to the counter, never breaking our kissing. His hands started moving up and down my thighs as I wrapped my legs around his torso. he wrapped his arms all the way around me and lifted me up again, carrying me down the hall this time.
"Luke, where are we going?" I laughed, knowing exactly how he thought this was going to end.
"I'm taking you home, you seem tired." He winked at me, squeezing me tighter. As I kissed him I could feel his smile against my own.
"Alissa, we're leaving. We'll talk later, ok?" I yelled down the hall, knowing that she probably wasn't paying any attention to us. Luke carried me outside to his car, propping me up against his trunk. We kissed for a long time before he finally put me inside the car. "Now, when you said that you're taking me home, is that my home or yours?" I winked, knowing that he wasn't about to leave me tonight.
"How are you so damn cute?" He laughed, leaning in to kiss me again. He cranked the car and put it in reverse, backing out of the drive. He put a hand on my thigh as he drove glancing over at me every few minutes.
"What? Why are you looking at me like that?" I teased, lightly bumping his shoulder. He pulled over the car and my heart started racing.
"Bay....Evans. I'm completely in love with you and everyday I fall a little bit more. I needed you to know that, I will be here forever, no matter what now."
Sorry this isn't very exciting, my creativity level has taken a nose dive but it will be getting better I promise :* love you guys so much
