I tried to darken her hair to the best of my ability.
Emilia's POV
"Okay, now what happened there. You didn't tell us the dude was so incredibly hot, nor did you mention the fact that he has the rarest companion there is," Fiona said incredulously. Her eyebrows were raised almost to her hairline and her lips were pressed into a thin line.
"I don't know. I guess because at first I wasn't expecting him to be an asshole, he just doesn't really look like one at first. So when he acted so self assured that he would get me, I don't know, it pissed me off." I stated while plucking at the stray thread on my quilt. All four of us girls were in my room, me and Willow are camped out on my bed, Kaylen is in my desk chair, and Fiona is seated in my bean chair that's in the corner of the room.
"Okay, fine. But, I have a feeling we're, or at least you will be running into him again soon." Kaylen spoke for once, she was a very quiet person.
"Ugh, don't say that, it's going to put me in an even worse mood," I whined. "Let's do something. I don't want to sit in here and talk about that idiot."
"What should we do?" Willow asked.
I gave her an 'Are you serious' look. "What about what we normally do?"
"Bake yummy sweets while singing at the top of our lungs? Hell to the yeah!" Fiona jumped up excitedly and ran down the stairs, with the rest of us following just behind her.
"So, what should we make this time? Birthday girl gets to decide." Kaylen looked at me happily, waiting for my answer.
"How about... Salted Caramel with chocolate chips?"
"Ooo we haven't made those in awhile." Willow gushed excitedly, and started prepping all the ingredients. Fiona went to the touch screen display on the wall to pick out my playlist. The little display is basically a system that is connected to the house, and can be used as an intercom system. I think the best part about it is that it can be used as a home phone system, but it also has visual display.
Soon, my music was pumping to every corner of the house, and we were all singing and dancing to the beat. No matter how bad we sounded, and let me tell you. It is bad.
I preheated the oven and measured out all the ingredients while, Willow mixed the dry and Kaylen mixed the wet. Once they were combined Fiona plopped them onto a baking sheet and stuck them into the oven. "First batch underway, what are doing until they're done."
"I really need to redo my nail polish," I held up my hands for them to see, and before I knew it, Willow was sitting in front of me, painting my nails a deep blue color. She was about to start on my toes when the timer dinged and the smell of freshly baked cookies wafted to my nose. I almost started salivating just by the smell, and was yelled at by Willow for trying to move.
"Please, you know Fiona and Kaylen. They'll eat all the cookies." I gave her the puppy dog eyes. My puppy eyes were perfect, they always got me what I wanted.
"Fine, but don't move. I'll get the cookies for you," with that she stood up and went to the kitchen. She came back a few moments later with about 6 cookies.
"Thank you. I love you soooo much." i smiled as wide as I could and took a big bite of a cookie. Almost immediately I started sucking in cold air, because of how hot the cookie was.
This made Willow laugh, "That's what you get for being impatient!" She continued laughing for a few minutes, then started painting my nails again.
A few hours later we were all sitting downstairs, watching horror films. They didn't bother me all that much, but the others were sitting with their knees pulled up to their chest and hugging pillows, covering their eyes at the scary parts. Looking over at them I sighed, "Want me to call the guys?" I asked. So they could have a shield to hide behind.
