Last night Willow and I studied just like we had planned. With me helping her pronounce Le Marseillaise, and her helping me write it for the test we had had today. I felt I did well on it but as for my College Algebra test, bombed it, completely and utterly failed, I absolutely did.
As Yoda would say.

Thankfully though school is over and I'm not going to worry about it anymore. I'm actually quite excited because today Kaiden went to get his companion, and I can't wait to see what he has. I know it's going to be beautiful. It's a good thing we always go out on each other's birthday to our favorite restaurant, P. F. Changs. Kaiden is going to bring his companion with him tonight for dinner.

Knowing the restaurant is semi-formal I decided to look nice, plus I had a new crop top I was dying to wear. Deciding to wear the striped top with some red skinny jeans, I put some rings and an arm band on, curled my hair slightly and put my left bangs into a thick braid. I also decided to wear some makeup to look semi-presentable and pulled a beanie on to finish the look.

I checked the time and saw that I still had thirty minutes before I needed to leave. So like any nice be person I decided that I was going to get Kaiden a birthday cake, his favorite flavor of course, red velvet with cream cheese icing.

Going to Kroger was always a good bet, they always have stuff I need, plus the bakers loved me. I walked to the back of the store with a smile on my face hoping that Becky, my favorite person in this store was there. I heard her before I saw her, "Emilia, come over and say hello to this old lady."

Laughing I made my way over and gave her a tight hug, "Hi Beck, and by the way you're not old, you're just very wise."

"You always do know how to make me smile." she said happily, her wrinkled face folding more with the movement. "Alright I know you didn't come here just to see me, what so you need sweetheart?"

"Maybe I did come here just to see you," I protested, crossing my arms in front of me.

"I'm sure you did. Now what do you need."

I sighed, knowing I had lost, "Okay you got me. Do you guys have any red velvet cakes with cream cheese icing that can be personalized?"

"Of course, come look at them."

I followed Becky back into the area customers weren't allowed, but let's keep that a secret. There were multiple cakes that were just coming out of the oven. There were also some bakers put icing on the cupcakes and cakes, making them look adorable. Becky showed me to the back room where there were multiple cakes not on display.

"These are the ones made fresh, we usually keep them for the special customers, but you're my special customer so take your pick. The red velvets are over here."

She pointed vaguely to the shelf on the left towards the end. I started searching the shelves, not having much luck until I came across the perfect cake, it looked to be at least 5 layers of sheet cake with a cream cheese frosting and crumbles of the cake around the bottom half with little rosettes on the top. "Oh my God this is perfect!" I exclaimed and picked up the masterpiece. "How much is it?"
