"Oh, those dishes were dirty?" - Absent minded author
My siblings looked up from their argument about the dishwasher...
"Yea, no one ran the dishwasher last night." - Germophobic sister.
"Oh........oops." - Absent minded author
"Wait...did you use one of those dishes?" - Germophobe
"Yep. It looked clean enough to me!" Absent minded author
"EWWWWW!!" - Sibling chorus.
Unfortunately for the absent minded author, this is not her first germ offence. Living in her fantasy worlds she never seems to mind dirty dishes, expired foods or questionable substances found within the depths known by her family as the refrigerator. Usually by the time she realizes what has happened she can only pray that whatever now resides within her body will not kill her with some sort of mutant virus or bacterial infection.
