~Ashley's pov~

"I'm telling you, Ash, she's not the same girl we knew back then," Jonathan says speaking about Riley. He was telling me about how she kissed him in front of Cameron and she didn't look like she cared.

"Yeah, Ross left right after she came and looked mad," I say putting thought into what he just told me.

Riley had left about 30 minutes ago and Jonathan came back just about the same time.

"Why do you think she came? I mean she stopped talking to you after we got here and now all of a sudden she came to see you?" He says and that got me thinking.

"I'm going to go for a walk I'll be back before dinner," I tell him and he nods. I grab my jacket, phone, and keys and head out.

I was going to go see Ross. He lived a couple of blocks from me so it was an easy walk.

When I got to his driveway I saw he was on his front porch smoking a cigarette, which I'd never seen him do.

"Hi." I smile as I sit on the seat next to him. He looks at me puffing out smoke and then throwing the cigarette out. "Hey, baby, what brings you here?"

"I wanted to ask you something," I tell him and he nods for me to continue. "Did Riley tell you anything when I left the room? Or did you have to go?"

He sighs before speaking once again. "She asked me why I was with you. She said if I was the bad boy in town then how was it possible that we were together? What if I wanted someone to fuck that all I had to do was call her and that's when you walked in."

"Oh," I say before staying quiet for a moment. Suddenly the wood of the porch floor creeks and I look up from my lap to find Ross kneeling in front of me.

"Baby, you do know that I wouldn't call her, right? I don't regret being with you and definitely wouldn't fuck her." He says moving his hand up my cheek to crease it.

"I know I just can't believe she would say that to you," I say sadness evident in my tone.

"You don't need her baby, you have Vanni and the girls, you have the guys and most importantly you have me. We would never say anything like that about you." He says leaning in and planting a kiss on my lips.

"So, since when do you smoke?" I asked him curiously after we pulled away from our kiss.

"for a while, I had stopped when we met, but when I moved I picked it up again, and now I can't seem to let it go."

"Why did you pick it up again?" I'm so full of questions but I need to let it all out.

"Because it relaxed my anger when you weren't there. Does it bother you?" He asks and I shake my head playing with the hairs on the nape of his neck.

"Would you like to come inside? It's kinda lonely since there aren't 6 people in the house anymore."

"I have to get home before dinner but you're welcome to join." I smile at him and he nods. "Sure."

I grab his hand and we start walking back to my house.
