Fall back in love

Chapter 6

It's now lunch, Savannah and I headed to the cafeteria got some lunch, and walked to a table that had two other girls sitting there, I'm guessing they were her friends.

"Come meet my friends!" Savannah said excitedly dragging me to the table. "Hey guys, this is Ashley. She's new to the school." Savannah said smiling at me.

"Hey, I'm Courtney." The brunette says with an Australian accent. "I'm Ashley. I love your accent." I smile at her. "Thanks love." She returns the gesture.

"Hey, I'm Jocelyn. Nice to meet you." The dirty blonde-haired girl sitting next to her says. All three of them are so pretty, How do I fit in?

"This is lunch at Northeast High School. There are the nerds at that table." Savannah says pointing to a table in the far back. "The punks over there." Jocelyn points to the table near the wall.

"The popular kids are all four of these tables right here. Don't worry, people will know you right away with us." Courtney says pointing to three tables that were to the left plus us.

"And lastly the jocks and cheerleaders over there." As soon as I look at the direction Savannah's pointing at I see Ross, with a girl around his arms, my brother, and four other guys walking towards it.

"It's where all the hotties are," Jocelyn says dreamily.

"Those four boys that are with Ross and your brother are Ryland, Ross's younger brother; Carter, Danny, and Andy, Ross' best friends," Savannah informs me.

"Who's the girl?" I ask the girls looking at the girl that's all over Ross. She's also really pretty. "That would be Mackenzie Ryan, she's the captain of the cheerleading squad and is always around those boys," Jocelyn says rolling her eyes. "Especially Ross." She adds.

As we started talking and the girls got to know me a little bit better I felt someone in the back of me.

"Hey, ladies." I heard a familiar voice say, I turned around and saw Ross smirking at me. "Hey, gorgeous." He winks at me. "So we have a game next Friday and then a party later that night. You guys are invited if you want to come." He says not taking his eyes off of me.

"Thank you, Ross. we'll keep it in mind." Savannah gives him a fake smile and he mocks her action looking at her.

"Alright, bye gorgeous." He winks at me and walks away.

"Ooo someone likes you?" Jocelyn says smirking. "What? Him? No. he's just being nice 'cause I'm new." I say blushing.

A jock has never liked me.

"Ross isn't the type to invite you to a party personally, he always makes Danny or Carter invite people, and he's never that nice to new students. You must catch his eye." Jocelyn says making me nod. "I doubt it, I've never been the type of girl to catch a guy's eye."

"Well you're in a new school, anything can happen." Courtney smiles at me and Savannah shakes her head. "Come on we have to go to class."

We all stood up and went to our next class. Physics. Luckily we all had that class together.
