Fall back in love

Chapter 18

~A month later~

It's been a month since I moved here and I love it more every day. Everyone is so nice and my friends are the best.

Today is hot out so I decided to wear shorts and a black and white striped shirt. I put my hair in a messy bun and put my contacts on. After that, I grabbed my keys, phone, and book bag and headed out to my car.

When I got to school none of my friends were there yet which was weird because they usually got there before me.

~Ross pov~

It's been a month since Ash and I have been together and today I'm confessing my love for her. I can't stop hiding it, I'm in love with Ashley.

I told everyone to meet at my locker instead of Ashley's and Savannah's this morning because I needed to discuss my plan with them.

After telling them what I was going to do I grabbed the bouquet of roses I had and went towards Ashley's locker. She was grabbing her books for class with her earbuds plugged in when I got there.

I walked towards her, wrapped my arm around her, and started kissing her neck until she jumped, startled. "Fuck, you scared me!" She said taking her earbuds out of her ear and leaning her forehead on my chest. "I'm sorry babe." I laugh and she looks up at me.

"Happy one month beautiful!" I kiss her. "Same to you." She blushes. I hand her the bouquet of roses and her eyes widen. "Oh wow. They are beautiful, Ross. Thank you." She kisses me and puts them neatly in her locker so they don't get ruined.

"Let's go to class." She grabs my hand and we head to class.

~lunch time~

~Ashley's pov~

"I want to show you something," Ross whispers in my ear as we wait for our friends. Everyone is acting so strange today

"Uh, okay." He grabs my hand and leads me to the ice rink. "wait here." He kisses my cheek and leaves.

Soon after Savannah and the girls come out on the ice with a huge poster. It said.

It's been a month and you completely changed my life. It's been a wild ride and I can't wait to keep going. Today I tell you how I feel about you.

The girls skated away, and then Ross and the guys came out with their hockey sticks and pucks. They each hit the pucks to try to spell something out. 

Once they finished I finally saw what the letters said clearly. Ross stood in front of the letters and smiled at me. "I love you, Ashley." He skated towards me, grabbing me by the waist and kissing me.

I was shocked. I don't know what to say. Should I say it back? Do I feel the same way? After a moment of sinking everything in, I smiled at the words that came out of his mouth knowing I felt the same way. He has made such a huge impact on me for the past month.

"I love you too Ross." I smile but he shakes his head. "Don't say it like that." I looked at him confused. "What do you mean?"

"I feel like you're just agreeing with me." He creases my cheek. "I love you." I smile pressing my lips to his.

"Come on babe I want to take you somewhere," Ross says in a hurry. He's been anxious to leave school since lunch.

"Why are you in such a hurry? I have to go home before going anywhere anyway. " I say grabbing the roses he gave me earlier and closing my locker.

"Because I have something planned for today. I want you to meet my whole family." He says and I froze. Meet his whole family! What if they don't like me? What if I make a fool of myself?

"Your whole family? A-as in y-your brothers and sister and d-dad?" I stutter, I'm freaking out.

"Yes as in all my brothers, sister, and dad." He chuckles a little. "Don't worry they will love you. Please?!" He says creasing my cheek.

"Fine, I'll go." I roll my eyes playfully. "What should I wear?"

"Anything you'd like. I'll pick you up at 5." He kisses me as I get into my car.

I had 2 hours until he picked me up so as soon as I got home I turned on the shower and got in.

20 minutes later I was out of the shower and looking through my closet for what to wear. I was about to give up when I saw the perfect thing. A cream color lace dress that went just above my knees and had a brown belt wrapped around the waist.

I smile at the item of clothing and put it on. Then I went back to the bathroom to blow-dry and curl my hair. After that, I put some makeup on, eyeliner, mascara, and burgundy color lipstick, and lastly put on my burgundy-colored heeled boots and some jewelry.

I was about to walk down the stairs when the doorbell rang. I opened the door and Ross was in front of me. He was wearing a white button-up and black skinny jeans with his Converse.

"Woah!" That was the first thing he said when I opened the door. "You look gorgeous, babe."

"Thank you," I say blushing. "You ready?" I nod my head grab my bag quickly and close the door to my house. Ross opened the door to his car for me and we drove off to his house.

The ride over there was silent, mostly because I was so nervous. Why am I so nervous? I've met Ryland and he's a cool guy, and I met Riker for a few minutes and he was nice.

"We're here. You ready?" He asks giving my hand a light squeeze. I nod nervously and we both get out of the car. He grabs my hand and leads me inside.

"I'm home!" He yelled out and immediately footsteps were heard as everyone started walking towards us, Riker and a tall blonde girl, a middle-aged man, Ryland, and a tall brunette, the one that tried to hit on me on the day of Ross and my first date.

"Guys, this is Ashley, my girlfriend." He says giving my hand a light squeeze.

"Nice to finally meet you. I'm Rydel, Ross's older sister." The girl came up to me smiling. "Hi." I smiled nervously. I lean on Ross's shoulder as Ryland comes up to us.

"Hey, I'm Ross's little brother Ryland." He says jokingly. "Hey, dude." I shook my head laughing and the tall brunette came up to us next. "Sup I'm Rocky." He gives me a wink and smirks. Ross tightens his grip on my waist and I give him a small smile.

Savannah's boyfriend Riker came up to us next with a smile. "Hey I'm Riker, we've met before. You gave Vanni a ride a while back, right?"

"Yeah, that was me. Nice to see you again." I smile back at him.

Lastly, a tall middle-aged man came up to me. "Nice to finally meet you kiddo. I'm Ross' father, Mark. I've heard lots about you." He smiles and unexpectedly pulls me in for a hug.

"It's nice to meet you too." I smile. They are all so nice. Why was I freaking out so much? They all smiled and left to what I'm guessing is the kitchen. "Dinner will be ready soon," Mark says and we nod.

"let me show you around." Ross pulls me up the stairs. We go up and he opens the door to his room. "I share a room with Ryland." He says and lays on his bed.

"Weren't you going to show me around?" I giggle. "Yeah, that could wait," he says grabbing his guitar and starting strumming it. He looks up at me motioning me to sit next to him.
