Starbucks. Harry's favorite place to get his daily coffee.
He's about to be a junior at Kings College in two weeks and he can't be happier.
He's in his dream college, he's out of his house in Holmes chapel, he has his own apartment and he doesn't have his sister Gemma around to get on his nerves. Harry loves his sister with all his heart, but she can be a pain in the ass sometimes and she's older than him.
To be honest, Harry still thinks it's weird to live alone, but he doesn't care as long as he can do what he wants.
He can't wait to leave teenage hood in a couple months, he'll finally be 20 and it's damn exciting.
Anyway, he's waiting in line to order his coffee and looking around at the guests sitting there... That's when he sees him.
Harry has never seen this boy before; he seems to be about 18 or younger and Harry thinks he's kinda cute. Yes, Harry has a thing for boys. He may be bisexual, but he's more gay than straight.
'I hope he doesn't go once I'm done with my order,' Harry thinks to himself as he's about to order.
Harry gives his order to the cashier and waits, eyes not leaving the boy. He mumbles thanks before making his way to the booth where the boy is sitting on.
"Is it okay if I sit here?" He questions. The boy looks up and nods his head slowly. Harry can tell that the boy is confused as to why a stranger wants to sit with him, but Harry shrugs it off as nothing.
"Hi, I'm Harry," he introduces with a small smile gracing his lips. The boy in front of him grabs a notepad that Harry only noticed now and scribbles something on it. He slowly slides the notepad towards Harry 'I'm Louis,' the curly haired boy reads before handing the pad back to Louis "Nice to meet you, Louis," Harry says with a genuine smile and Louis smiles slightly, because no one's ever nice to him.
Not after freshman year anyway.
"You want something to drink?" Harry questions as he sees that Louis didn't order anything.
Louis once again grabs the notepad and scribbles something down quickly 'Hot Chocolate would be good,' Harry reads before handing the pad back and standing up to order Louis a hot chocolate.

"What's that for?" Harry questions as Louis hands him three pounds something 'For the chocolate' Louis writes down "The drink is on me," Harry informs smiling, before giving Louis his money back.
Louis frowns a little but he decides to just accept the gesture, no one did anything nice to him until now and it's been three years since he stopped talking.
They start to chat for a bit, Louis using the notepad of course until Harry's name is called. Harry stops talking to Louis to see who called him and he spots his friend Zayn at the entrance of Starbucks, waving him to come over. "Excuse me, I'll be right back," Harry says smiling before standing up and walking towards his friend. "What's up Z?" He greets as he's close enough for him to hear.
"What are you doing talking to Tommo over there?" Zayn questions pointing nonchalantly at Louis, "You know him?" Harry asks in disbelief "Yea, we went to school together," Zayn informs "Do you know what happened to him? Why doesn't he talk?" The curly haired boy asks "No one knows what happened to him, but he went mute on the second semester of freshman year," Zayn explains before asking Harry to hang out with him "Maybe later," Harry says patting his friend's shoulder before walking back to Louis.
"Sorry about that... So... Where were we?" He questions 'Getting to know each other' Louis writes on his pad "oh Yea, so... How old are you?" Harry questions 'I turn 18 this December, four months,' Louis writes with a smile on his face.
After that, they keep chatting until Louis 'says' that he has to go home to finish unpacking.
"Do you want me to give you a hand?" Harry questions 'I'll manage,' Louis writes before packing his notepad into his messenger bag, thanking Harry for the drink - by shaking his hand - and leaving Starbucks with a smile on his face.

I didn't get his number' Harry says to himself as he stands up from the chair. As he grabs the cup that Louis forgot to throw in the trash, he sees a small note on the table and grabs it. He frowns a little at first, but when he sees what it says, he smiles.
"I guess I got his number after all," Harry mumbles before throwing the two cups in the trash and making his way home.
