crybaby.

a voice whispered to me. i jumped as if i found out the cure for cancer. "oh my god, josh?"

"yes, doll?" he asked, worried. we both looked at each other.

"i found out my blurryface's name." i don't know why i was excited. but i feel like i found a part of me. the part of life that josh and tyler deal with. that so many people have to deal with. crybaby. it fits me, because my heart's too big for my body. i pour my anxiety out of me where everyone can see. i take things so hard, and i fall apart.

"woah. weird time to happen. what's her name?" he raised his eyebrow. weird time to happen? what is that supposed to mean?

"crybaby." i simply stated.

"hm, i think blurrybaby should be a thing, huh?" he nudged me and i smiled stupidly.

"okay lovey-dovies, we've reached your destination. have a great time, you two." the kind man showed a toothy grin as josh hopped down, holding his hand out for me. i grabbed it and stepped onto the floor. looking at the restaurant before us, which i've been to before, was called "little italy". i'm still going to act as if i've never been here before, just to make josh happy.

we walked inside and saw a brunette standing behind a table holding all of the menus and reservation schedules. "hello, welcome to little italy. reservation name, please?" her italian accent laced through her words.

"under joshua dun." josh cleared in a deeper voice. the brunette, who's name was melissa, smiled and guided us to a table outside behind the restaurant. there were dim lights and vines spreading across the beams that held up the roof. i've never been here before. josh pulled my chair out for me and i sat down as he sat in front of me.

"your waiter, zane, will be here shortly." melissa said sweetly and walked away. josh engulfed his hands mine. i couldn't wipe the stupid grin off of my face, and neither could he.

"thank you so much for this, joshie." i whispered and he scoffed.

"pft, this is just the beginning, oh ms believer." josh smirked and i blinked dramatically.

"that food was amazing!" i exclaimed as we walked out. josh held my hand and dragged me away from the downtown lights. i giggled as we ran through the people who stared. we slowed down as we reached a music store, i looked at josh, utterly confused. he just smiled and pulled me inside.

"hey, hey, hey is that who i think it is?" the man, who was sorting vinyls, with purple hair looked up and opened his arms out to hug josh.

"yes it is buddy! how're you? long time no see." they hugged and the guy looked at me. i smiled and waved.
