i watched melanie and josh in front of us, holding hands, whispering into each other's ears, and simply smiling, overwhelmed from glee that was radiating from both of them. it all distracted me from my wife, and i noticed jenna staring at me with a poker-face.

i giggled and walked down busy sidewalks holding jenna's hand, following josh and melanie. shops were gleaming with halloween decorations and little children ran around with their parents.

teens were all choked up with their phones they never dared to go trick-or-treating. (i trick or treat and im a teen yo) it was sad they never enjoyed the fun of actually hanging out with people, not just communicating over rectangles with screens. well, unless if you have a long distance relationship with someone, there's an exception.

i shook my head and cleared my thoughts. jenna squeezed my hand and asked, "you okay?" she stepped up to her tippy-toes and gave me a peck on the cheek, standing back down and walking normally again. i smiled at this action and nodded.

"just thinkin'" she understood as i wrapped my arm around her waist, pulling her close to me.

"i love you, t." she whispered.

"m'love you too, j." i hummed and kissed the top of her head.

i slipped melanie's hand in mine and watched her as her eyes boggled the natural scenery. i just wanted to kiss her so bad. the orange lighting coming from the downtown decorations enlightened her facial features; her plump and rosy lips, her rounded nose, her puppy-eyes— it all jumbled me up inside, and i wanted to spill every feeling out on her. even though i practically did already, it'd be great to do it again.

"josh, you're staring." i noticed her eyes on me now, she laughed as i laughed shortly after.

"sorry, you're beauty distracted me." i whispered and a faint blush plastered against her cheeks.

"don't make me push you into a wall and kiss you." she warned and i snickered.

"do it, please." i said nonchalantly.

"nah, jenna and tyler are back there." she smiled and fixed her gaze to her feet, squeezing my hand.

"then you're kissing me later." she snuggled into my shoulder, sighing.

"fine." she breathed out.

"don't act like you don't want to." i grinned and eyed her. she looked at me and put her lips close to mine. i fluttered my eyes closed, waiting for her plump lips to reach mine. but instead she whispered something.

"i do, i just wanna tease you." i saw her toothy-grin when i re-opened my eyes. she placed the smallest kiss on my lips that i couldn't even taste hers. i pouted my lip and she laughed, putting her head on my shoulder again.

"i love you, doll face. you know that?" i got bowed my head to get closer to hers.

"no," she gasped, "because you don't tell me it every day." we laughed, and i gripped her ass for a few seconds as she jumped and squealed.

"attitude and teasing?" i shook my head and clicked my tongue, "not in my house." (,,,,of heroes)

"sorry, daddy." she said in the smallest voice.

and i swear i felt my jeans grow tighter.
