The One Mistake

Chapter 3

Georgia's POV

"Wow G." Lacey breathes after I tell her everything that happened today.

I nod and she gives me another hug.

"I think you should talk to him." she tells me.

My head snaps up and I'm confused.

"Of course I want to talk to him I just don't want him to love me just because of Eloise." I tell Lacey.

"Well either way you have to talk. Mow get some rest I have to head back home my brother is visiting." Lacey sighs.

"Jonathan?! I miss him so much!" I squeal.

Lacey laughs and shakes her head.

"Well I'll tell him to visit you tomorrow around breakfast if Liam isn't here yet." she tells me.

I hug her and she walks out.

I love Jonathan. He is like my brother.

I kiss Eloise's head and basically pass out on my bed.

Tomorrow here I come.

I wake up and find Eloise jumping up and down in her crib.

I laugh and pick her up.

I quickly change into some skinny jeans and a purple v neck with socks and change Eloise into her little purple jumper so we were matching.

Her curly brown hair bobs up and down and I can tell she is hungry.

I carry her downstairs and find Liam sitting at the kitchen table.

"Morning." he says.

"Hi." I say nervously.

I sit Eloise in her highchair which is next to Liam.

She looks at him and starts to scream and cry again.

"Mumma! Mumma!" she cries.

"Mumma will be just a second baby." I tell her and she quiets down a bit but not much.

I grab her applesauce and warm milk and pour it in a baby bottle.

I sit beside her and start to feed her applesauce to her and she squeals.

I hand her her bottle and she starts to drink it.

"So what do you need to talk about Liam." I state looking at him.

"I'm so sorry Georgia. I was an awful boyfriend and I can't apologize enough for that. I truly love you and I can't ever loss you again." he says and grabs my hand.

I want to pull away but yet I don't.

I just stare at him.

"I've changed you know." I say.

"And your still perfect." he says.

I smile and blush a bit at that.

"I never stopped loving you Liam. And yet you put me through hell." I whisper.

He jumps up and comes over to me.

He grabs my face and smashes our lips together.

This time, I don't pull away.

Our lips move in sync and eventually we pull away.

"I love you Georgia Rose." he whispers pressing our foreheads together.

"And I love you Liam Payne." I whisper back smiling.

"Honey I'm home!" I hear a familiar voice call through the open door.

I rush up and jump into the man's arms.

"JONATHAN!" I squeal and wrap my legs around his waist and hug his torso.

"Hey Georgie cakes I missed you." he chuckles.

"I missed you too." I say burying my face into his neck.

I hear Liam clear his throat and I snap my head up.

"Jonathan this is Liam." I say.

Jonathan smile drops.

His grip around me tightens.

"What the hell are you doing here." he sneers.

"Here with my girlfriend and my child." Liam snaps back.

"You have the nerve to come back here? Seriously?" Jonathan states.

I know he is surprised.

"Yes and I'm not leaving again." Liam says and takes a step forward.

He should be afraid of Jonathan.

He's pretty big.

But yet so is Liam now.

"You hurt her and your dead meat Payne." Jonathan snaps.

I'm still attached to Jonathan and I'm quite scared.

"I just came to say hi. I have to get to work now Georgie." he says sadly.

"Wait your staying?!" I say excitedly.

"For three weeks yes." he says his smile returning.

I squeal and hug him again.

"Bye Jonny." I giggle as he sets me.

"Bye Georgie cakes." he laughs and gives one last smile to me then a scowl to Liam.

The door closes and Liam walks over to me.

"Who was that?" he asks getting angry.

"Lacey's brother. Also like my brother." I say trying to calm him down.

He wraps me in a hug obviously relieved and I giggle.

"What?"he asks pulling away so he can see my face.

"You were so jealous." I giggle.

"Well your mine so I don't want anybody else to hold you like that." he mumbles.

I jump onto him like I did with Jonathan which makes Liam smile.

"Better?" I say.

"Very." he says and our lips connect again.

It doesn't last very long because we hear Eloise start to squeal.

I try and hop down but Liam's grip tightens.

I laugh and we walk over to Eloise.

He sits down on a seat and repositions me so I'm on his lap.

I put a bowl of mashed tangerines on her tray and she starts to eat it.

I turn to face Liam and connect our lips again.

We suddenly feel wetness on us and we break apart.

Eloise starts to giggle and squeal and we look down and find the mashed tangerines all over us.

"Well it looks like we have to get washed up." I laugh.

I pick up Eloise and walk to the front door and slide my sperrys on.

"Where are you going?" Liam asks.

"To drop off Eloise at your mums so we can have the day to ourselves." I wink.

He smirks and I quickly walk out the door.

I knock on Liam's front door and am greeted by his mum.

"Hello I was wondering if you could watch Eloise for today?" I ask.

"Oh of course! I see you and Liam have sorted things out?" she smiles.

I smile and nod.

"Thank you!" I call back.

She smiles and closes the door.

I quickly rush back to my house glad that my mum is out until later.

I quickly close the door and find Liam kneeling and cleaning up the mess.

Today is going to be fun.
