I sighed for about the hundredth time today. Meg was eight months along, and she was getting more crabby by the day. She kept getting these awful mood swings, something that both confused me and angered me.

I wish she would give birth to our kids already.

I couldn't wait to meet them. Our little boy an girl. I was really excited. Right now, Jace was making videos for YouTube, so I focused on Meg and our babies. Jace was becoming quite popular, in fact. He already had ten thousand subscribers.

"Meg, have you picked a name for our little boy?" I asked.

Tears rushed into her eyes. "Stop pressuring me! I'll choose when I want to choose!"

I hugged her to make her stop crying. "I'm sorry, babe. Want me to get some pizza and ice cream to make you feel better?"

She shoved me away and crossed her arms over her chest. "Why do you think pizza and ice cream is going to fix everything!?"

I sighed. "Look, I'm trying here. I'm trying to help you and you're yelling at me."

Tears sprang into her eyes again. "I'm sorry for yelling at you. I've been getting mood swings lately."

Yeah you have. "I know and it's okay. It's not your fault, babe."

"I was thinking maybe Ethan, Daniel, or Sage," she said, smiling at me afterwards.

"I like Sage and Ethan the most. How about we pick between those two?" I offered.

She smiled and nodded. "Yeah. That sounds great."

We went to bed after that. Even though it was only nine p.m, we were both tired. I made sure Jace was in bed because Mom was working late tonight.

"Goodnight, Meg. I love you."

"Love you too," she whispered.

We fell asleep soon after.

I walked to the store today to get some groceries. Since I was pregnant with the twins, the doctor said that exercise was good as long as I didn't walk too much at one time. I picked up some junk pizza on the way home and ate it while walking.

Once I got home, I put the groceries away in their rightful places, but not before making myself a few sandwiches for lunch. As I ate them, I got a small cramp in my stomach. I held it, thinking it would pass. When it did, I finished my lunch and went into the living room to watch T.V.

"Hey, Margaret. How's it going?" Janet asked me.

"It's going well, thanks. What are you doing here, if you don't mind me asking." I smiled at her.

"I'm hanging out with your mother today. We're going to get a few croissants at the pastry shop then catching a movie."

"Cool. Well, have fun," I said.

Once she left, I decided to take a nap. I was really tired today because of how much energy the babies take.

When I woke up, Vin opened the front door and walked in. "Hey, babe. How was your second day of work?"

He smiled. "It was great. I love that it's only a five minute walk away. I also love working with kids. They're so adorable," he said, giving me a kiss on the cheek.

"Yeah, well, working as a preschool helper is kinda your jam," I said, giving him a big smile.

I looked up and saw him staring at my stomach with a look of longing. "Can I talk to them?" he asked, pointing at my stomach.

I pulled him down beside me. I was spread across the couch, so he had to kneel on the floor. He leaned in and placed a hand on my stomach. "Hey babies. It's you're daddy reporting for duty."

I rolled my eyes. "Reporting for what duty? You just got home from work."

"Don't listen to your mommy. She's just a little grouchy today." He mouthed 'I love you' to me and continued talking to babies. "Are you treating her well? Because she's doing her best to take care of you. You know she loves you a whole lot, right? So do I. I can't wait for you guys to be born so I can see your beautiful faces."

I smiled at him before resting my hand in his hair. "And we both love you with all our hearts," I finished.

After I said that, I felt a kick in my lower abdomen. I looked at Vin who seemed to notice it too.

"They kicked," he said, his eyes filling with tears. "Now I can't wait for you guys to be born. I love you both very much."

He stood up and helped me up off of the couch. "You're going to be such a great dad. They'll love you so much."

"They'll love you too. You're their mom."

"I can't wait to start a family with you," I said, kissing his lips softly.

"I can't either."
