LUCY'S P.O.V
Nathan was perfect, I had to get a drink before I got too flushed. So I walked into the kitchen. I grabbed a glass from the cupboard and swilled it under the cold tap. Weirdly, I felt a wet, drippy feeling on my arm. Shit. I lifted my cardigan and seen blood. My cut had re-opened. No one new about this, how I cut myself to feel alive. To feel relief. I've done it for so long now it's the only thing I know how to feel better. It's like I'm in constant war with myself. My own mind bullying me. I feel so alone. I want someone to save me.. from me.
I looked down at my arm for a second. Watching the blood, been hypnotised by the droplet sliding down my wrist. I felt a tear brim my eye before I got snapped back into reality when I heard a quiet voice behind me.
"Lucy?" His quiet, husky voice questioned.
I turned around, pulling my sleeve down at the same time to hid my arm.
"Uh-u- yeah?"
"Are you ok?" He asked, while he raised an eyebrow. I started nodding my head, but slowly shook it. I'm so sick of feeling alone all the time.
"Aw Lucy, come here." He pulled me into a tight hug. I only realised I was crying when I look at his shirt. His top was slightly damp. "Hey, hey. Don't be like that. Tell me what's wrong?" He coed.
"Noth-" he cut me off.
"Don't tell me nothing, I seen your arm Luce, come on pass me your arm."
NATHAN'S P.O.V
I took her arm in my hand, examining her cuts slightly. I felt my eyes watering up. I grabbed a bit of tissue and dabbed it along her arm. She hissed in pain. "Sh, sh. It's ok." I looked up at her to see that her eyes were glassy, so I pulled her sleeve down. She was so pretty, even when she cried. "You're so beautiful." I told her.
She looked down, I took her chin between my finger and thumb. I leant down, it would have been the perfect moment. Our lips inches away.
"I'M BACK" Alice shouted from the front door. She walked into the kitchen where me and Lucy was. We were still really close. Both still looking at each other.
"What's going on here." she asked.
Before I had a chance to answer, lucy butted in. "I had something in my eye, he was looking for me. Wasn't you Nath." She said while looking at me. Almost like telling me to agree with her eyes.
"U-uh yeah, that's why her eye is a bit puffy."
"Ah, makes sense. Well. They had no pepperoni left, so I got us chicken instead."
"Um, what?" I asked in confusion.
"The pizza?"
"Oh right, we'll meet you in the living room" I told her.
She walked off and I looked towards lucy, she looked at me and smiled. I went to stay something, but she walked away.
